They have been collectively working very hard to reclaim the word 'retard', otherwise why use it so much?

It is, however you'd think such a publicized event would have stressed the importance of clean water to anyone that heard about it. Even the people who are racist should understand why they should want their water to be clean.

Musk was 19 when apartheid in South Africa ended.

As in, lily white Musk lived for 19 years as an heir to a blood emerald mine in apartheid South Africa.

There is simply no way he isn't racist. I would believe Trump isn't racist before believing Elon isn't.

Careful, someone will think that's sinophobic

There will never be anything that convinces someone like you to take action.

The source is their fingers when they typed in the message. Silly goose.

To be fair, these are Apple users we're talking about. They uhh... kind of epitomize rampant American consumerism.

Why the world should care

In our view, all things being equal, it’s unlikely that the economy will implode soon, forcing Russia to scale back its military campaign in Ukraine; or that deposits will be frozen. That doesn’t mean, however, that nothing will ever happen to deposits, nor that the banking sector will always be trouble-free. However, there are far bigger threats to the Russian economy at the moment: for example, a lack of transparent decision-making, little independent expertise, and the classification of much economic data all undermines trust in the authorities. This is more likely to, eventually, lead to some sort of hard-to-predict, man made crisis.

This is the article written by Alexander Kolyandr and Alexandra Prokopenko. https://en.thebell.io/no-russia-is-not-on-the-verge-of-a-banking-crisis/

So, they dispute the idea that there will be a credit/ banking crisis. They do not dispute that the Russian economy is in bad shape.

Figures of the week

Inflation in Russia might be starting to slow. Between January 1 and January 13, prices went up 0.67%, which suggests annual inflation of 9.9% (it was 9.5% last year). However, January’s figures reflect one-off boosts from increased sales of alcohol and tobacco, a further rise in the recycling fee for cars, higher public transport fares and a weakening ruble. Together with a fall in consumer demand and an increase in consumer borrowing, this could mean inflation will peak in the first half of the year. In the absence of external shocks (such as tighter sanctions) this could pave the way for lower interest rates.

So, no, they do not agree that sanctions would not work. In fact, they imply here that an external shock like tighter sanctions would likely cause inflation to continue rising.

What would be most likely to cause a man made crisis if not the value of the rouble decreasing further + a continued bloody war?

I wonder if the information that measles wipes out immunity for other viruses is what's actually driving these parties.

'Measles gets rid of the vaccines! This will make Billy less autistic!'

Idk, I feel bad for the kids but.... this is literally how Karma works.

Well, I ran this through several media bias checkers - it came back as unbiased. Site leans a little left, but that's about it.

So tell me again, what are you trying to say? Because if your answer is more or less 'it's propaganda' - I'm not sure I should entertain this topic any further.

Nah he's just planting trees for future generations to sit under.

Can't have Barron end up anywhere other than King, right?

I don't really think about them with hate, I think about them more like weeds that need to be trimmed.

I don't hate the weeds for growing, I've given them the conditions they need too. They still need to die in order for my other plants to thrive.

Hey everyone, title pretty much says it all.

I've managed to snag a set of keybinds that works for me, played around in Arena Commander offline. I'm hooked, had a ton of fun but I feel like my arms are sore from cranking the sticks so much.

Really looking for advice pertaining to ergonomic setups, like what kind of mounts should I grab. I have two Gladiator NXT EVOs, both the left and right hand versions. I didn't buy anything else though, as I wasn't that impulsive, so currently it's unmounted and I'm just rolling with it.

On top of those recommendations, specific guides on how to get better at combat would be good. I'm open to buying other space flight sims as well, if it would be easier to practice there (ideally I'd like to stick to Star Citizen).

My main fear is trying to hop into the main game and getting my shit rocked, losing what little resources I have trying to learn how to not crash. I tried it a little bit, managed to get my first ship impounded lol. If anyone has tips on ensuring I can ping the hangars correctly I would greatly appreciate that as well.

Sorry for the word vomit, still very new to space sims/flying sims in general. Not really sure how to word what I'm asking. Thanks to anyone that takes the time to read and answer!
