but to quote something from a leftist friend of the author

It honestly felt like Bartov's pointing out the very serious historical and material myopia that exists within Israel proper, outside of very specific and rare circles, that's developed to such a severe degree that when blowback against the actions of their fascist state occured a la O7 that it completely disorientated them and shattered their fictional worldview.

Like it's quite possible we're able to get a glimpse into history of what was happening in fascist Germany with how inundated with propaganda their people were with observing the continued unraveling we've been given a glimpse into with the contemporary events occuring.

Excellent read. Should be a mandatory read for anyone with interest in the current genocide being perpetuated against the Palestinian people.

At least two visible with performance "safety" props. Just need one squad fully armed to persuade them to disperse, one fireteam emplaced in front of their target of intimidation, other fireteam to hold a flanking position in skirmish positions behind cover but visible to ensure implicit awareness of being encircled and under-armed.

No need for provocative actions as such a counter-demonstration communicates clearly and calmly such actions won't be tolerated in these communities

I don't usually use forums or Hexbear, I usually just post comments in MAGA streamer discords like Infrared or MWM, but they didn't seem appropriate places to post my story. So here goes, I just wanted to share this with all of you.

Nov 3 I flew to colorado for a great American road trip type tour. Not a guide or packaged deal, just going around by myself. I paid for half of the trip with the wages I earned over the last two years, my dad paid for the other half. I am 19, I guess that is normal starting college and all. (Before that I worked for my dad's company part time, so I guess you could say he paid for all of it, lol).

I did Wyoming and Nebraska, then south Dakota through Minnesota and then Wisconsin next. I am a MAGAcommunist American Communist Party pre-member so I wanted to see patriots in these places. Yes, I know they are different kinds of "patriots" and not really full patriots like us. I went to an patriotic book store in Wyoming and it had a lot of American iconography, but no Heidegger or LaRouche. Like I said, I expected that, not a surprise.

I went to Wisconsin, which everyone knows is famous for its  patriotism, its cheese and everything going on right now. Here I found directions for a local patriotic bar. I went and didn't see anybody, but it was covered in graffiti, mostly about yoopers so I couldn't read it. Whatever, I started taking pictures. Then some people came out and confronted me.

This should have been my first warning sign something was not right, because photography is not a crime. They were not violent, but they were not friendly, like asking who I was, what I wanted. They all spoke good English actually. Not uncommon in Wisconsin. I said I was a tourist and an patriot and I just wanted to take pictures. Then they got friendly and told me I should have asked first (but pictures are no NAP violation so I don't know why, but I didn't say anything) and they invited me inside.

We hung out for a while and smoked hash (there is no good dank in the midwest as you might find out like in Cali, everyone smokes hash with tobacco which isn't as cool as it sounds). We started talking about politics and patriotism. I was trying to talk about America, they were like yeah no doubt America is the best. But they wanted to talk about capitalism, capitalism this and that. This is when we started to get into a debate.

I told them that what they called MAGA patriotism is different from MAGAcommunism. They said patriotism is loving america. And I said I agreed. That is what I am saying. Real patriotism is socialist. And they said yes, that is what we are trying to get rid of. And I said no, but we don't even have that right now. We need more socialism. And everyone at the same time was like "nooo" we are patriots, we are against socialism. Patriots oppose socialism.

And I said but not MAGAcommunists. MAGAcommunists are the patriots who support socialism. I had a fanny pack (yeah, lame I know) for my camera and in that I had this red, white and blue bowtie (also super lame, it was a joke but I wasnt wearing it). And I said look, these are the Anerican colors, red white and blue, like versus the communist red and black. Well, these guys had a lot of red , white and blue in the building already so I thought they would get it.

I think that is when it started to get a really bad vibe, really tense in the air. The patriotism vs socialism thing was funny, we disagreed but I think they thought I was just confused. Everyone was uncomfortable now. Then someone said socialism wont work with democracy. And I said exactly, that's it, democracy is against patriotism. And they kind of agreed, and said yes, we don't have real democracy, just governments, and we needed more democracy. I said no, we need less democracy, democracy is the enemy. And we need to end democracy to have america. Then they were all like "noooo" again. You know that thing people do in groups when everyone all says "nooo" or expresses some disapproval at the same time.

And one of them said "but we do want to stop the government" and then they kind of spoke back and forth. I didn't really understand it. And they asked me what I meant.

So I said okay, I had the floor, I was going to tell them about MAGAcommunism. And I tried to explain to them some Eddie and Haz. I said the natural order in america is that the best rise to the top, the market picks who is the best. They compete and are peaceful. They said what do we want instead of america. I said we want workers to control their own land and businesses. They said that is what we have now. I said no, it would be even better. One of the guys said it was like Authoritarianism. And I said it is not Authoritarianism.

Eventually one of the guys spoke up and I thought he was German, but he spoke English perfectly so he may have not been. He said he knew what MAGAcommunism was and that we were basically fascists. He asked me if I thought everything should be collectively owned. And I said yes. And he asked me if I thought people were equal. And I told him yes. And that everyone would have equal rights. I said everyone has the right to live in america and not be done aggression against. But that everyone had to be treated equally without owners. He said what about immigrants and antifa. And I said that would not happen in MAGAcommunism, but yes property owners could immigrate here if they wanted to. They had to respect america.

Then he called me a fascist again, and someone else said I was a antifa. And then they basically all started shouting libtard at me, and one of them grabbed me by the wrists. They pulled me out the door, it was up three floors, and basically drug me down the stairs on my back. It hurt really bad and I remember yelling "you're hurting a fellow patriot" and things like that. "I love America with all my heart" Then they kicked me around on the ground in the hallway, before they took my camera and threw me outside. I was crying and stuff, I just sat there. I was in shock because it was so sudden. Looking back there were warning signs though.

I think they felt bad for me and gave the camera back, but when I looked later they stole the memory card with all of my waspconsin photos.

So they initiated force and theft. They broke the NAP. I knew the nationalists were not real patriots, but I never knew they would do something that bad.

I wasnt seriously hurt, just kicked around a little, lots of bruises and little cuts. I am fine guys so don't worry. Just needed to share.

Palestinian Factions Sign Beijing Declaration on Ending Division and Strengthening Palestinian National Unity 2024-07-23 18:49

On July 23, 2024, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi attended in Beijing the closing ceremony of the reconciliation talks of Palestinian factions and witnessed the signing of the Beijing Declaration on Ending Division and Strengthening Palestinian National Unity by 14 Palestinian factions.

In his remarks, Wang Yi noted that since entering the new era, President Xi Jinping has put forward proposals and propositions on addressing the Palestinian question, contributing Chinese wisdom and solution for addressing the question. Now, 14 Palestinian factions are gathering in Beijing with the greater good of their nation in mind. This is an important historical moment in the Palestinian liberation cause. China commends the reconciliation efforts made by all the factions, and congratulates them on the success of the Beijing dialogue and the signing of the Beijing Declaration.

Wang Yi pointed out that only when Palestinian factions speak as one can the voice of justice be loud and clear, and only when they join hands and march forward shoulder to shoulder can they succeed in their national liberation cause. The most important consensus from the Beijing talks is to achieve the reconciliation and unity among the 14 factions; the core outcome is the affirmation of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) as the sole legitimate representative of all Palestinian people; the biggest highlight is the agreement on establishing an interim government of national reconciliation focusing on the post-conflict reconstruction of Gaza; and the strongest call is for truly establishing an independent State of Palestine in accordance with relevant U.N. resolutions. The key to the Palestinian reconciliation process is to bolster confidence, keep to the right direction, and make incremental progress. Only by making continuous efforts to build consensus and put it into practice can the reconciliation process yield more and more substantive progress and greater unity. Reconciliation is the internal affair of Palestinian factions, and cannot happen without international support. On the path toward reconciliation, China shares the same direction and destination with Arab and Islamic countries.

Wang Yi noted that the Palestinian question is at the core of the Middle East issue. China never has any selfish interests on the Palestinian question. China was among the first countries to recognize the PLO and the State of Palestine. China all along firmly supports the Palestinian people in restoring their legitimate national rights. We value fairness and advocate for justice. At present, the Gaza conflict drags on, its spillovers continue to spread, and multiple regional conflicts are interconnected. To help get out of the current conflict and predicament, China proposes a three-step initiative:

The first step is to achieve comprehensive, lasting and sustainable ceasefire in the Gaza Strip as soon as possible, and ensure access to humanitarian aid and rescue on the ground. The international community should build more synergy for ending the hostilities and establishing a ceasefire.

The second step is to make joint efforts toward post-conflict governance of Gaza under the principle of “Palestinians governing Palestine.” Gaza is an inseparable, integral part of Palestine. Restarting post-conflict reconstruction as soon as possible is an urgent priority. The international community needs to support Palestinian factions in establishing an interim national consensus government and realizing effective management of Gaza and the West Bank.

The third step is to help Palestine become a full member state of the U.N. and get down to implementing the two-State solution. It is important to support the convening of a broad-based, more authoritative, and more effective international peace conference to work out a timetable and road map for the two-State solution.

Ceasefire and humanitarian rescue are pressing priorities. “Palestinians governing Palestine” is the basic principle for the post-conflict governance of Gaza. The two-State solution is the fundamental way forward. The international community should support the parties in taking the three steps in real earnest.

Wang Yi noted that intra-Palestinian reconciliation will bring hope and a future to the Palestinian people. It is an important step toward resolving the Palestinian question and achieving peace and stability in the Middle East. Unwavering efforts must be continually made in this direction. China sincerely hopes that Palestinian factions will achieve reconciliation and, on that basis, realize independent statehood at an early date. We will strengthen communication and coordination with the relevant parties and make joint efforts for the implementation of the Beijing Declaration.

Head of the Fatah delegation Mr. Mahmoud al-Aloul and head of the Hamas delegation Mr. Musa Abu Marzouk delivered remarks on behalf of the Palestinian factions. They noted that China holds an important place in the heart of Palestinian people, and expressed sincere appreciation for President Xi Jinping and China’s unchanging, firm support and selfless assistance to Palestine over a long period of time. They spoke highly of China’s acting as a responsible major country and upholding justice for Palestine in international fora. They expressed deep appreciation for China’s strong support for intra-Palestinian dialogue and reconciliation. They stated their readiness to implement the consensus, strengthen unity among factions, advance the reconciliation process, and work for an early solution to the question of Palestine.

Diplomatic envoys to China or their representatives from Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Russia and Türkiye as well as representatives from 14 main Palestinian factions attended the closing ceremony.

I disagree. There's always greater depths to be explored, and our good English explorers are experts in exactly that.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 month ago

Well it doesn't necessarily matter anymore because your reply fixed it lol

I think it's generally schlock, but it's a good article describing the inner workings of the imperialist diplomatic corps and higher government facilities when it comes to their own analysis of opposing state entities. Additionally the hyperlinks to other articles go to interesting articles, trash they mostly are but still a lot higher quality than the usual trash we see on hexbear. Like for example this article that talks about Clinton's role in creating the current world we live in

That said
