Idk, chief. It seems to me that difficulty selections aren't in FromSoft soulslikes. So your entire argument makes no fucking sense.
But do indulge, did they both launch Some_Fucking_Soulslike_With_Difficulty_Selection.exe? Then they are in fact playing the same game and can probably summon each other.
You're the one making it about FromSoft soulslikes. I'm talking Soulslikes in general. They ain't soulslikes if you have an easy mode.
Hard pass. This sounds like the talk of gods. Those of us who follow the dark have no concern over matters such as "worthiness"
