That attitude of drawing lines in the sand if the Democrats get your vote is why Trump won in 2024.

Can we not do this? Trump won in 2024 because more people voted for him. And trans people are allowed to be suspicious of a political party that is actively throwing them under the bus.

If dems couldn't trip their way over a ~~line in the sand~~ massive human rights concern to win an election, whose fault is that, really 🤔

No, it must be the people that have expectations that their government should protect people from human rights violations rather than perpetrating them that are wrong!

I'm a leftist and not a registered democrat; democrats aren't owed my vote.

And human rights will be better under the alternative? They don't even negotiate, it's just a flat "No". Choosing nothing over lesser evil because perfect isn't on the ballot is how we wind up with greater evil.
