What were they saying that you consider to be "wrong"? I got the vibe nobody was interested in learning how Lemmy works, but didn't see any misinformation.

No apps, bad UI (which doesn’t make sense for a Reddit user to say), confusing sign-ups, etc.. Strictly speaking, they’re mostly opinions. But they’re opinions that don’t make sense, given the simplicity of the tasks

I've said this many times before, but FOSS enthusiasts vastly overestimate the amount of hassle non technical people are willing to put up with to do something. The only thing in that list that is factually incorrect is no apps.

You’re probably correct. I rarely speak to others about their social media habits, so I lack perspective on that front.
