I love that song, which is why I noticed, and was really confused, that they cut this part:
I swear by Mommy and Daddums / This detestable ~~Fester's the echt~~ Fester Addams!

I don't remember that change... My mom still has that movie on laserdisc, so I might have to look into that. But I remember it always rhyming, hence the "Daddums"
It still rhymes, they just cut that one part. When I say "they" I mean the UK broadcaster, so whatever copy you have would be unaffected.
Ohhhhhhh, you're saying they literally omitted those three words! I thought you were saying that they changed "Fester's the echt" to "Fester Addams." I was confused why they would have done that in the first place since it didn't rhyme.
