Human rights groups are demanding international powers intervene to stop Israel’s creation of an “extermination zone” in northern Gaza this week, as Israeli forces are attacking hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who they have trapped in the region, and are demanding that hospitals evacuate.

Several advocacy groups have raised alarm as Israel has embarked on a campaign to seemingly eliminate all Palestinians from northern Gaza. Israeli forces have issued evacuation orders for the region while targeting Palestinians who try to flee the area. Soldiers have killed dozens of people in the invasion, which began on Monday, the anniversary of the start of the Gaza genocide.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has said that the current invasion is “one of the most violent campaigns of [the] genocide,” noting Israeli forces’ siege of Jabalia refugee camp and the surrounding area. The campaign, the group said, is directly targeted at civilians and turning the entirety of north Gaza into a “full military zone.”

Money absolutely makes the world go round. Who do we get angry at when our politicians got bought fair and square in a capitalist system? (Progressives and the youth is the easy answer of course, but I intended this to be a rhetorical question.).

Its not even illegal to bribe/lobby them.

Oh, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of Racism involved in politicians supporting the extermination of the natives by the last White Colonialist Nation (who even tell us they have "Western Values" and that the natives "are violent and homophobic" to try and get us to see them as "westerners - i.e. whites - surrounded by evil savages") still in existence, especially given that said natives are Muslim, which is the one group which in the West is actually fashionable to be a racist about.

The loud anti-Racism of neoliberals in the West for the last 3 decades was purelly performative for them to distinguish themselves from the even more rightwing parties (i.e. the Fascists) and capture minority votes, which is why they still support Genocide abroad as long as it a "superior" race (in this case, "the chosen people") doing it to a "lesser" race (or as they call them, "human animals")

"oh no I'm not racist, I just think the cultural differences would be a detriment to our society" "oh no, I'm not culturally conservative, I'm simply fiscally conservative"

Yet they always run defense for conservative positions, even on cultural issues, and criticize any solutions that are remotely leftist lol. I guess it's easy for them not consider themselves racist if they don't consider Muslims people. The hypocrisy is blatant for anyone to recognizes that they are people, like everyone else, and equally deserving of human rights.
