"I only accept someone's nationality if they fit the stereotype"
ok lmao
That sounds like a no true Scotsman argument.
If you're at war I reckon nuance must not the highest priority. I very much doubt you are retarded.
Stay safe.
Russian is a music, a food, a sense of style, a story. Russian is culture not the current tyrany.
Why let the fascists steal that from the people? I understand your sentiment but I'll be honest it enrages me.
It's like a person saying that any black that doesn't join a gang isn't really black. They can't see a non-violent black as a member of that race. You ignore the problem in favor of factionalism. Black people are not inherently violent, it's an economic and political situation. Apply the same logic to Russians. See the obvious reasons for the current situations. It's not the people, it's their tyrant. A tyrant they cannot choose.
Black does not mean the worst of their people, Russian does not mean the worst of theirs. It's a signifier of culture, and ethnic origin. That is all
Make it the other way around and see the progressives as Russians and the others as not Russians. The progressives will thank you and the others will be annoyed. Win win
I kind of agree, and they might agree themselves too, but I don't know.
