Fixed the (handmedown) Switch controller that got dropped. Cents worth of solder & super glue. Works and can still be disassembled.

The iron was bought but it gets used just enough to justify a nice one.

Douglas Adams / Hitchhikers guide references.

HIGHLY recommended.

Edit: you might also be having a stroke, but that's just a coincidence. Coincidences can be frightening things.

I really like the naming of things after their discoverers/inventors. I'm picturing a mathematician getting upset:

"How dare you speak about Friedrich Gauss like that. He dragged that universities astronomy department out of the stone age, even after the death of his first wife..."

The history of the people helps me with remembering the concepts.

Disclaimer: I am NOT a mathematician.

I'm imagining them logging your call then saying 7 years from the last record. If they follow up internally a couple weeks later, when you call back 7 years later they can repeat the process.

I'm feeling cynical today.

I feel like there is some kind of followup or reference that I am missing here.

And echidnas.

I'm not sure if I'm and echidna custard or platypus custard kind of person.

Sounds like the Sirius cybernetics corporation:

The fundamental design flaws are obscured by the superficial design flaws.
