I am a baby to pirating**.** I've only really done shows before, but now I'm moving to applications. I'm using Pirate Bay to get a certain application. I'm at the page, and trying to get the torrent file. But it doesn't want to download in any kind. Can, someone help me? Or give me a tutorial from youtube or something? Because of the tuts on YouTube (That I have found) Were only overviews of the website as a whole, or from 14 or so years ago. Like said in the beginning, I'm really new to this, and I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.

I have never really pirated until recently(anime and manga that is) And seeing the US government get involved to try and find people is really crazy to me.

Companies having a list of 100’s of anime and manga sites that I recognize and some I have never heard of is crazy. Them catching and shutting down a bunch of big name sites at the same time is crazy. People say this happens everyfew years and more pop up(even though that would take a very long time to do and I think people underestimate that) Is this normal? Has this happened at large like this before? The manga sphere has huge Korean companies and Japan AND China backing them up to catching people. They are going after scanslation groups, nhentai, which has been around since forever. Is this just another wave that comes around or is this a really big thing?

My girlfriend has a habit of torrenting without a VPN. I have invited her to add her PC to my Nord account but she's too lazy. She torrents a lot of games and movies, I keep telling her BitTorrent exposes her IP address and that she should connect to my VPN, but she doesn't care. For context we live in the UK, the ISP caring about what we pirate or getting any letters from LE is unlikely.

Give me a better argument than "exposing your IP is bad because it is"?

I would buy Netflix if they had more movies but it is not worth it.

I would pay 10$ max per month if the side would have nearly all movies, fast speed and good Quality videos.

And if possible live sports. I love my football team but I would need Sky Austria to watch it and I can not afford it right now.

Lately the situation in my country is quite bad, and my family is thinking of moving to a somewhat quieter place. What worries me is that I have my collection of PS2 games that I bought and you can tell that they are pirated because the discs have no design. Will I have a problem if I try to send it to another country? Will they realize that they are pirated games?

I was also thinking of taking a hard drive with my emulators and ROM with me, but again I don't know if I will have any problems at the airport or even if they really care about this.

Sorry for those many questions, I'm kinda lost. I've some experience with unlocking android apps, it was easier tho, because I've a solid background on android sdk. But never developed for pc, I know a little linux but not confident enough.

It was the only way to watch anime with romanian subtitles, as there are no legal services that offer romanian subtitles, not even crunchyroll. The community was also very good, with people dedicated to translating, subbing, encoding and uploading

Their domain anime.kage.ro now redirects to the private tracker animetorrents.ro now. Most (but not all) of the series have been migrated there. A sad day to see the only active fansubbing community from here go away :(

I just want to thank this community and everyone in the piracy domain.

I used to live in a war zone country in MENA and couldn't get my hands on any software our purchase it because I didn't have any money and most of these programs weren't available in my country , I learned Graphic design from youtube and downloaded pirated Graphic design tools and started making money out of it to support myself and my family.

When I was depressed and down I couldn't buy any games and gaming stores were blocked in my country, and torrent was my saviour as well.
