At least in hindsight, it proves her wrong and that they can’t win without the unions?

So like, maybe the DNC will be self-aware enough to reflect upon this and pivot back towards more progressive, worker-friendly policies rather than the neo-liberal garbage they’ve been espousing for the better part of the 2000s?

I almost burst out laughing at the absurdity of the above, but in the words of Jim Carey’s character from Dumb and Dumber: “So you’re saying there’s a chance?”

Firehose* of disinformation, which is par for the course.

The complicit media companies rush to cover every absurdity he spouts, thereby passively covers up the fact that his own rushed policies are likely the ultimate culprit of this crash!

His federal worker hiring freeze, and forcing the head of the FAA to resign/step down apparently led to there only being 1 flight controller in the tower; where there needed to be a minimum of 2.

So Trump falls back on his usual strategy of deny early, deny often, deny 100 ways.

..and y’all less than one month into his 48(+?) month term.

Take your pick: Lies, Damned Lies, Statistics

It’s might be even worse then that; if something costs $1000 currently, with a 25% tariff could it not end up costing 33.3% more ($1,333), so that after the 25% tariff, the value returns to $1000?

Thanks, I’ll check them out!

Based on the description, this is the one you’re referring to?

Is this the one?

Only reason I use it is because it’s seemingly the only browser on iOS that blocks YouTube ads, and allows for background play without paying for Premium.

If anyone knows how to do the same via Firefox (iOS), I’m all ears!

I’m probably the wrong person to challenge, and an exception to the rule! 😅

I drink ~4L (a gallon) of fluids daily; half of which is still/sparkling water, the other half being a mixture of coffee, tea, pre-workout, BCAAs, kombucha, soda, booze.

It was a habit I picked up to help me get used to OMAD when I was cutting weight in the first couple of years of my diet, and is a habit that’s stuck with me since.

I have to go to the bathroom often - which is a downside, but at least I never get a hangover after a night out drinking!

I mean, there’s nothing preventing people from drinking water as part of this diet..

Hilariously enough, it’s really a very basic, boozy ketogenic diet.

You’ll lose a lot of water-weight in the first few days regardless, as you deplete your glycogen stores; the caffeine, alcohol and lack of carbohydrates should help keep satiety (lack of hunger pangs).

If you enjoyed The Haunting of Hill House, there’s also The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass (plus American Horror Story).

Completely different genres, but Chernobyl is a brilliant limited series; I also enjoyed The Last Dance (about Jordan’s last Championship year at the Chicago Bulls), and there’s also Tiger King - which was a cultural touchstone in the midst of the ‘Rona Lockdowns.

I don’t miss those loading times though; for better or worse, SSDs have changed the game (no pun intended).

This is awesome; I’m too tired to do it right now - but I’d I remember I’d really like to normalise this against country populations to see what percent of a nation is a Reddit user.

At a glance, I’m pretty sure Australia is punching well above its weight - if nothing else.
