My favorite character I ever played was a super shady rogue who, as it was revealed halfway through the campaign, was the estranged son of a very wealthy and powerful politician. He was very embarrassed to have to reveal this to the party, as he had carefully curated an image of himself as a self-made scallywag.

Oh man, this by a mile. This game is pure discovery, which means that 1) any spoiler is something you will never experience for yourself the first time, and 2) once completed, it has basically zero replay value. I am still mourning that second point.

If anything, he has confirmed to the conservative base that he is who he said he was. If Biden fails to motivate his base, he will lose, because Trump is not going to lose votes.
