A better use of protest time would be a general strike. Protesting does little more than slow these assholes down in traffic.

Imagine you’re in Photoshop “retouching” your own portrait. First, you remove the little bit of makeup that smudged near your eye. Fair enough. It was distracting. But now that it’s gone, your eye sees a wrinkle and decides that’s probably distracting too.
Now the wrinkle’s gone and you’re studying the image again. Aha! A mole near your temple! That can go, too.
So now the makeup smudge, the wrinkle, and the mole are gone. You study the image again for flaws…
And that’s how it happens. Every time you “fix” something you re-evaluate and will always find something to change because your goal has slowly shifted from making you beautiful by reducing “distractions”, it’s to find and fix “flaws” which, turns out, are infinite when you take this approach.
Fake eye lashes. Holy God do they look stupid but somehow are so normalized. No idea how some women find the courage to walk outside with what look to me like Muppet eyes.
For the love of God ladies, tone it down. Your eyes are beautiful as they are! Mascara is one thing, but if I feel a fucking breeze every time you blink, it’s gone too far.
Jack Black. Seems like a nice dude, but he’s a an annoying presence in every movie he’s in. His is the definition of a “sweat act”.
Sweet. They’re power-hungry monsters right now but computers have gotten faster and smaller, and so will LLMs. The first computers filled entire rooms and consumed oodles of energy. Now we can make and share memes around the world from the toilet on devices smaller than our own hands.
They will weave an historically large American flag to cover the entire event.
A lesson societies keep taking longer and longer to relearn between revolutions. We’re all too comfortable with our bread and circuses to bother revolting. Not until we literally can’t get food, water, and / or shelter will we decide it’s finally high time we made examples of some of these colossal assholes.
