Fossil fuel based fertilizer has also contributed to global inequality - synthetic fertilizer is 3-4 times cheaper in Europe than Africa.

And the cheapness of nitrogen fertilizer has led to massive problems with too much fertilizer ending up in the ocean, sparking algae blooms and subsequent oxygen starvation. Just look at the Baltic Sea.

Apparently ChatGPT actually rejected adjusting salary based on gender, race, and disability. But Claude was fine with it.

I'm fine with either way. Obviously the prompt is bigoted so whether the LLM autocompletes with our without bigotry both seem reasonable. But I do think it should point out that it is bigoted. As an assistant also should.

They'll want to make the same profit margin (if they aren't changing the way they do business) so if the margin is 10% the price would go up 27.5 dollars in your example.

Wait, is my math right?

Who is that fine looking gentleman with the godawful haircut?

[–] ryedaft 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Nope, because that wasn't really a secret. You would have had to be very out of the loop to not know that in advance. But I saw Dune with a buddy and he was very "What?! It just ends there?". Wrt Wicked, I saw the musical in London ages ago and was very surprised to hear that this is a two part movie (also known as a miniseries).
