Dryer balls supposedly help with this

From what I've heard, dryer balls help the drying process by warming up faster than the wet clothes and drying from inside the pile. And even if that turns out to have been misinformation, I'm not too annoyed by it because it's a single low-cost expense whereas dryer sheets are consumables

Not only that, some people (including myself) are sensitive to the oils used. Having underwear that actively makes you itchy sucks. I switched to wool dryer balls and never looked back

Also I'm not gonna look it up to confirm but that ketoacidosis explanation sounds like a grave misunderstanding of what it is.

Honestly not sure how I should respond to this. I'd rather you either research it yourself and call me out or simply nod and follow along. But you chose this weird middle ground.

On the flip side, you require a steady supply of glucose into your cells to live.

Gluconeogenesis is a thing, go look it up. Again, you're doing these half-assed "gotchas" without doing any research of your own

Just Works™ technology has a lot of value (assuming the thing does in fact just work).

And that assumption is unfounded in Apple's case. My parents have constant issues with their iPhones that you would never get on Android. But my mom is convinced that it's easier to use than Android despite never having tried Android

Sugar is also acidic. Not enough to kill you, but that's why ketoacidosis kills people. It also increases blood viscosity, making it pump harder and causing hypertension. Plus, it causes chronic inflammation, which calcifies triglycerides in your blood to form clots.

Sugar has tons of negative effects.

Proton as a service provider is still safe despite their CEO being a political twit.

That twit was allowed to use the company's Mastodon account to double-down on his shitty political post

Also significantly fewer roaches. In my experience they're more common in the south due to the warmer weather
