Muskrat grew up as a trust fund baby on money from his dad's apartheid emerald mines. He's essentially clueless regarding technical skills and got where he is from just hiring people who knew what they were doing.

Unfortunately there's been a bunch of propaganda over the years making him out to be some super genius that's the lead engineer for all of his companies, and he's since bought into all of it

I personally like Jerboa, but I also used to use RIF is fun for Reddit which had a similar UI. I'm probably in the minority on preferences which is nothing new

Fair, but the title for the PC Gamer title sounds like the writer is taking it seriously, and they've had enough braindead takes they they don't get the benefit of the doubt from me anymore. I refuse to even click on the article.

Personally, I'm not a fan of Deck Mate, but I don't have a beef with the designer. My issue is with PC Gamer magazine

Just for anyone randomly stumbling upon this thread: make sure to throroughly check the picture of a listing. Look for LSI cards specifically. They have been purchased by 2-3 other companies, but you absolutrly need to do your research to make sure the manufacturer badge on the card is one of those companies. Don't just trust the title of the listing

On your point about SAS cards, some sellers will post "IT Mode" in their product listing even if the card can never be flashed to IT mode. I know because it happened to me

Keep in mind that there's 2 new justices that were instated by Trump during his first term and 4+ years have passed

Eh, there's Horseshoe Theory at play there. While some people rail against the idea, I think they're forgetting that political stances should mostly be modeled along 3 axes, not just the one. It's just that the 'average' range of political stances tend to follow a horseshoe-shaped pattern within those 3 dimensions
