Are you crashing there too?

I encountered a consistent CTD in that town about 1 minute after loading, every time.

If I manage to escape and try to return, I still crash.

Ingredients:

White onion (about 1/2 an onion per 16 burgers)

Hawaiian rolls (a 16 pack will use about 2 lbs of beef)

Beef - your choice of mix. I've been using higher mix of protein to fat lately.

Cheese

Horseradish sauce or whatever you're into

.....

I use a cast iron skillet for the burgers and a big flat top griddle to toast the buns.

Pack some patties with the seasoning of your choice. I used Gibson seasoning. I pack them to about the size of my palm. They'll shrink a bit while cooking.

Mince some white onion. Saute them with some butter if you want.

Toast your buns if you want.

To cook the patties, I throw down a bit of butter and throw the patties in. Once the sides start to brown, I'll flip and throw my toppings on - onions and then cheese to keep everything in place. Sometimes I'll put bacon on if I have some.

Once the bottom of the patty is browned, I put it on the bun cheese-side down to prevent sogginess.

I use butter to get some of that fatty/salty flavor into there and it's easier to maintain size and shape when the fat from the beef isn't rendering out into the pan

I've made sliders about 4 or 5 times in the past couple months and they've gotten really good. I use Gibsons seasoning salt, a higher protein beef (88/12 was the last one), white onions, and Hawaiian rolls. Add whatever cheese we have at the time.

I brought one to my neighbor and he suggested horseradish sauce, which was absolutely stellar.

My kids, my wife, and my neighbors all say they're amazing.

It can happen rarely in cases of some crazy workouts

If anyone's curious about why:

Muscles break down during workouts. They release myoglobin, which is a large protein. The kidneys can usually filter it in small quantities.

If you go too hard and give yourself rhabdomyolysis, your body releases a large quantity of myoglobin and it overloads the kidneys. Large proteins begin passing through the nephrons en masse and damaging them because they're too big.

Now your kidneys are unable to filter properly because the nephrons cannot contract to prevent excess fluids or particles from going into your urine.

the democrats handed Trump an absolute win on this for no good reason.

Voting on something that Trump supports isn't always a bad thing. This kind of thought is going to hurt everyone more than it'll help.

Banning TikTok isn't fighting China, it's becoming China. It's using the same "foreign interference" and "protect the children" line used by despots globally from Xi to Putin as they ban newspapers, websites, and anybody critical of their regime. "But China does it" isn't the great defense people seem to think it is, we don't want to do the same things China does.

China owns TikTok. They can sway Americans any way they want by promoting videos made to influence people. Imagine if China took over our entire entertainment and tailored it to exactly what they wanted us to see. What effect that would have in 5 years? 10 years?

Right now I have about five varieties.

What's the difference between them, if any? I didn't realize there's so many different types of vanilla.

The bourbon one is really interesting.

Just got a crazy Baader-Meinhoff phenomenon with this. I saw your reply and then a couple hours later I'm reading about GeoIP blocking on my router

As the title says...

Is this a risky thing?

EDIT: I have a wireguard VPN set up for myself and it's always on so I can access *arrs and the like. I would like to expose immich on my domain to share photo albums and such.

I just switched from Windows 10 to Bazzite with KDE 6. I have experience with linux before, but not as a main OS. I have a Logitech Performance MX. I used SetPoint on Windows to fine-tune things.

For some reason, my scroll wheel acts differently in almost every program. Firefox is the only one that feels normal. My scroll wheel clicks as I scroll, and in Windows that would do 3 lines up or down.

Nothing except Firefox follows the clicking, so all my scrolling is super fine-grained as if I were scrolling with a trachpad. I tried Solaar and that gave me an option to turn off smooth scrolling, but now I need to scroll 6 or more times to see any movement. Increasing sensitivity in KDE just means after 6 times of nothing, the next one is a huge leap. There's no middle ground it seems and I'm losing my mind trying to fix this.

Is there anything else I can do?

I have a couple things set up:

The configuration:

  • DNS points to my IP
  • Nginx configured to point to Authentik for the metube subdomain
  • Authentik configured to point to the correct containers after authenticating

What I'm experiencing:
Upon initial login to Authentik, MeTube works correctly. Restarting or closing the browser causes MeTube to fail to connect to the server until I clear cookies and re-authenticate (see picture). Accessing MeTube by its port on the host IP works fine. All other services connect fine.

Does anyone know what is causing this?

Related note - I've seen MeTube do this before when the container wasn't even running. I think it has something to do with how much info the container caches in the browser or something.

Setup:

Debian running podman. Containers and compose files are managed with Dockge. qBit and Gluetun are on a single compose file and all qBit traffic is routed through Gluetun.

qBit seems to starts first before Gluetun is fully set up and qBit doesn't see the open port. Every time I start them together, I have to manually restart qBit again once Gluetun is ready. Once it's restarted, it shows as open and connected again.

I tried looking for ways to delay startup in a compose file but I didn't get any results.

Is there a solution to this?

I've got a portable monitor that only takes one single USB-C input. The Pi 4 can't deliver enough power to keep it on. The monitor power cycles endlessly when plugged into the pi.

Is there a way I could give it more power somehow?

I'm planning out my next homelab when I move soon. I have the floor plans and it looks like the best place for my computer is not centrally located, so the Wi-Fi won't be ideal. I'd like to run the cables a short distance so the router would be in a better spot.

I'm just renting and will likely only be here for a year so I don't want to do any drilling. I just want to secure the cables somehow to the crease where the wall and ceiling meet.

The total length will only be about 20 feet to the router.

I just want to toggle the alternative speeds while Plex is streaming outside my house. I couldn't find anything while looking around except for some old scripts that haven't been updated in years.

Is there already something like this? I'm using Duplicati and a cloud storage provider to back up all my docker configs. It encrypts everything before uploading.

Is there anything similar to this that acts as a seamless interface for cloud services, but with user encryption added in between? Not so much for a backup plan but just for regular cloud storage?
