It reads like a sovcit claim.
Fuck 'em. Pirate more.
The term being changed to mean something else by whoever is writing these articles is the real crime; how do you not understand what unskilled labor means? Changing the term isn't going to earn you better compensation for something that doesn't require formal or specialized education. Get over it.
The amazing part is lots can, and that would instantly decongest infrastructure so that those who did have to go in would have an easier time about it.
What's this trend of posting YouTube videos please stop.
These are good things, for sure, but for me they are separate from why I'm here. The niche discussions that I crave are just not here. We're simply not large enough to have anything but the most popular subjects get any traction. So we have memes, politics, and programming/linux discussions. Worse off, you have to dodge the hexbear and lemmigrad dipshits. So the overall experience is still suffering due to the size.

Counter point: lemmy doesn't need to do anything to become a top website. Just stay decentralized and independently run. If that's meant to be a "top website" so be it, but that's not why I'm here.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
What I do know is that I'm happier having left.
Anyone paying for reddit premium has to just be the biggest sucker. Then again I don't understand anyone paying for a similar privilege on twitch either. Batshit insanity.
Fuck israel.
