When I first got on lemmy I joined lemmy.ml because 90% of what I used reddit for was for technology subs. ml is clearly a not about tech if you spend three minutes there and your better going to lemmy.world
Yes I use graphine OS on a Google pixel and have nearly all FOSS apps. The few apps I can't get FOSS I cut off network access to. (Alwsome graphine OS feature)

My ethics on this mimic that of modern multiplayer games. Games make a much larger amount of money praying those willing to dump hundreds into cosmetic items so now the game is free for me. Eg. leage, overwatch, apex, halo etc. . .
I see other distributed content in this same way. If someone love a content creator so much that they will drop money on merch, or patron good for them. They make up the majority of the money the content creator makes anyway so I don't really lose sleep over it.

Ive always loved ales and scotches as well. I recently just finished off a Speyside (Glenfiddich) the otherday with some friends. however we have been stuck on Islay region scotches for a while. I had a friend get me into gin recently as well. Especially traditional gin martinis. A recommend would be Aviation gin from Portland. Ryan Reynolds owns it so that is a plus or a minus depending on who you talk to but it actually is very smooth for a gin.

As well in left leaning ideology there is a concept of intersectionality that tells us it's ok if other cultures & countys don't identify with western ideas of LGBTQ beliefs because the west shouldn't practice imperial practices of enforcing our ways on others. However, this concept that culture is maliuble and not set in stone would apply to those in this county as well.

As for handling the pages I put them in folders besed on what they are under. One of these days I want to bind my journals into a books.
Drinking journal is fun. Everytime I have a new entry I put a drop of what I'm drinking on the page. The thick cotton pages hold water well and drive fast. Theres a lot of complexities to the flavors when homebrewing so it's helpful to document whatever I can.
