"As discussed" means your people don't trust your lying ass. You bet I'm gonna send you an email with all the shit you want me to do, but can't be bothered to send me in a clear traceable email.

For real, it implies their mastery over... something, anything really. It's not what my career has shown me, though.

The funny thing is I've seen places like that in China for kids. Just no bucking, but the kid can ride a kart or whatever while they get their hair cut.

We have a lovely backup generator on site that turns on anytime an electrical storm is detected within 50km of our DC. That thing is something out of a cruiseship so yeah, I can imagine real huge data centers must be an order of magnitude worse.

I am pretty good at flushing out all memories of my work during weekends these day, so that's why I have great comments for such things.

(how do I know they are great? I got colleagues thanking me for the helpful comments. How fucking often has that happened to you in your career?)

In the spirit of the joke, it would be a Nugget that does absolutely everything you need and then some, used to be free, and since version 4.5 has changed license and now requires a 399$ annual fee per dev, which of course your employer positively refuse to invest in when there are so many other options available for free!
