The democratic party didn't vote Trump in. The people did.

There was absolutely zero chance that any politician with a chance of winning was going to side will Palestine. Full stop. The Harris campaign was the best option anyone had for any semblance of a peaceful resolution to this.

Trump wants to speed run the genocide so he can build a resort.

If Palestine was your single issue that caused you not to vote against fascism, you're a moron and are complicit in the upcoming genocide in the US. Full stop.

Because look what happened. Did sticking it to the Harris campaign change anything for the better at all?

Yes, the words you use and the way you use them are your behavior online. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

Lol, no. Bonobos are peaceful.

People aren't controlled by political leaders. Choosing not to support the only legitimate option that wasn't fascism is a stupid way to stick it to the leaders.

Yes, the democrats ran a bad campaign, but that's a shit excuse to not fight against fascism.

People like you lack any concept of prioritization. If someone throws a molotov cocktail through your window, you don't try to fix the window before putting out the fire. If you let the house burn down you can never fix the window.

Our behavior is closer to chimpanzees than bonobos.

You're talking about tens thousand plus of years ago and people we only have fragmets of information about, right?

Humans definitely aren't the only animals who have power hierarchies, so it's silly to assume they just spontaneously came into being when we invented writing.

Humans are greedy selfish animals, and the ones who are truly altruistic are outliers. You seem to forget that humans are the source of all of the pain and suffering that capitalism and such cause.

It's more about your behavior than opinion.

So ushering in fascism was the solution? How's that going for them?

Humans have the capacity to be that, but all you have to do is look at the entirety of human history to know that we're not really like that. It's a nice lie that we tell ourselves.

Hierarchies of power are an integral part of human nature and always have been. Any society that centers around empathy and cooperation will eventually be corrupted by those who only seek personal gain, and the masses will follow them.

One thing people forget is that right now is one of the most peaceful times in human history, and it's still a shit show of war and misery with large sections of the population actively working on making things worse

The duality of man is our species's Great Filter.

Like 60% of the male Latino vote went to trump, and I've seen Trump support shirts among those rounded up by ICE, so some of them are in the Find Out phase.

There's also the idiot Arabic groups that helped get Trump in power by demonizing Harris then are all shocked Pikachu when Trump turned out to be exponentially worse.

My MiL was one of those people who were initially fooled, but that lasted a week before she realized she fucked up.

I never had dht-11s that worked at all. Maybe one in ten was anywhere close to calibrated correctly. I need to check out the bme280, though.
