While this is likely a fake image, this will happen with any old/new car collision because new cars are designed to crush like that.

Crumple zones keep you alive.

The wheel arches are plastic and the front where there has clearly just been stretched in photoshop. The side panel would also have popped off, not shrunk. Most cars are also stronger in the back than the front so this wouldn’t be so weird except that the Cybertruck doesn’t really do that properly so…

Notoriously, Cybertrucks are not designed with traditional crumple zones.
