I was enjoying their tech and news communities, fuck me right? So toxic 🙄

seeing how the lemmy.world people were reacting really validated Beehaw’s decision in my eyes

I think people have a right to be upset when they feel unfairly banned from communities for no fault of their own.

Fuck em, I applied to several different servers and it took days to get accepted. Open registration is necessary

It’s not about being left. It’s about praising Mao and Stalin and removing content that criticizes the CCP.

Mods locking threads because “y'all can’t behave” jfc just ban accounts breaking the rules and let the rest discuss

logged-in mobile web experience

If it's blocked for logged in users, why would that effect search engines?

Not in response, the linked post is a month old

Still 7 of top 10 are lemmy.ml... but yeah, glad to see beehaw growing! When I tried to sign up there it never worked :<

The biggest communities are still local to lemmy.ml though (for now)

Idk why anyone would use the main instance and choose to be admined by pro-CCP tankies

[-] deva 4 points 1 year ago

This all is cool, but I'm sad the biggest instance by far is admined by tankies. Like this guy gets quickly banned for posting articles about North Korea and Russia in the world news community.

I really don't see this popping off if new instances aren't willing to block the "main" instance.
