You could take any url you had from like a bookmark or something and put it in to the Google search bar with “cache:” before the “http” part and it would show you a cached version of the page. It was occasionally handy for a while, but yes the internet archive covers a lot of the same ground these days.
In this particular case it’s even stupider. The average tiktok is short enough that it wouldn’t even be worth claiming any music used, and if nothing else would likely lead the average consumer on that platform to seek out the song in question via other means (legitimate or otherwise). Either way it’s free advertising for them. This seems like purely a flex from UMG.
I’d put ACS as peak, MA and Holywood were both great, then a very long lull. Pale Emperor was the last one that caught my ear like the older ones did.
Yeah mine “went missing” during one residence move or another. I like that the reissue has the option to switch between the original and updated modes.
Love this one. Some tracks I made people swore there was a synth in there but it was just the HM-2 doing its thing.
The Waza version is a nice update too, in terms of noise gate etc.
They did a great job on the Josie And The Pussycats soundtrack, too
