On third thought, reading some of the comments here, maybe a universal answer is wrong here. We should distinguish between instance-only questions (signing up, defederation,...) and community relevant ones (re communities,...?) I keep the vote in case we don't distinguish.

Das ist mMn nicht so klar. Die Streaming-Seiten hatten ja ein klares Ziel. Als Nutzer-Sicht ist lemmy ja eher so wie nntp - und dass Usenet-Provider hafteten (obwohl es dort ja auch problematische Inhalte gibt), wäre mir neu.

Vorab erst noch einmal der Hinweis, dass das föderieren von Instanzen mit pornographischen Inhalten schlicht strafbar wäre und deshalb unterbunden wird.
So wie es für Deinen ISP strafbar ist, wenn Du solche Seiten ansiehst? Dass die Provider blocken müssen, ist noch nicht klar und selbst wenn dann nur auf konkrete gerichtliche Anordnung. Vorauseilender Gehorsam mag deutsch sein, notwendig hier aber nicht.
Wir sollten mit den Füßen abstimmen. Es gibt im Moment genug Instanzen, die ohne Beschützungsdrang auskommen. Zum Beispiel feddit.nl. Oder sh.it.

But Bürgeramt is not allowed to share that information with third parties. It will only do so if they try to push criminal charges. Which they supposedly already did to obtain her name in the first place. If that case is closed (and it will most likely be closed at some point), then they are out of luck.
