Hub, I wonder what happened that made them come back?

Here's hoping these protests become a daily occurrence and they're finally able to give Hamas the boot.

In a rare event in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, hundreds of Gazan citizens marched in the northern town of Beit Lahiya carrying white flags, calling to end the Hamas rule, and even calling to hand over the Israeli hostages.

The protests took place in front of the Indonesian Hospital in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. One protester who filmed the events questioned where Qatari Al Jazeera and its Gaza correspondent Anas al-Sharif are, implicitly referring to the channel’s no criticism of Hamas policy.

people are demanding the press to cover these events!” he said. “People are demanding freedom, they’re demanding a halt to the hostilities against Gaza, they’re demanding peace and an end to this war.” One of them said, “The press entered the hospital so as to not document this event.”

Slogans shouted in the protest included “Out out out! Hamas out!” and “Where is the press?” and “We want to live!” Signs held by protesters included slogans such as “We refuse to be the ones who die” and “Stop the war.”

Another video showed hundreds of marchers walking in the streets of Beit Lahiya, with the cameraman saying: “Large crowds are protesting now against the rule of Hamas. The situation in Gaza is catastrophic. The people here are calling to free the prisoners so we can remain alive,” possibly referring to the remaining Israeli hostages.

I'm also a native English speaker and I tend to disagree. I often find it hard to understand what the actors are saying due to poor sound quality and/or mixing. The explosions are too loud, the speech is too soft and I find myself turning on subtitles and playing around with the volume when watching movies at home.

Yup, it says Madison מדיסון

Red Cross informs Israeli authorities all 4 lookouts—Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy, Karina Ariev and Liri Albag— in 'good condition'; parents will reunite with them at border

The IDF and Shin Bet announced Saturday that four freed hostages—Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy, Karina Ariev and Liri Albag—have been handed over to Israeli forces in Gaza and crossed the border into Israel.

“The returning soldiers, accompanied by IDF and Shin Bet forces, crossed into Israeli territory a short time ago and are now en route to an initial reception center in the Gaza border area, where they will reunite with their parents," the agencies said in a joint statement.

IDF releases footage of a captured Hamas terrorist describing how the terror groups launched attacks from the hospital in Gaza believing it safe from Israeli attack moving anti-tank missiles, grenades and small arms through the facility

A captured Hamas terrorist who was employed at the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabaliya said the facility was used by the terror group as a command center, a launch bad for attacks and a point for the distribution of arms to Hamas fighters.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit published on Tuesday a clip of the interrogation of the terrorist, a 21-year-old cleaner at the hospital who was a member of the Nuchbah force since he joined the terror group in 2021.

The IDF arrested some 240 individuals, the largest number of terrorists caught in one location, in the hospital compound and shut it down.

"They believe the hospital is a safe haven for them because the military cannot directly target it with an F-16 missile or destroy the building since there are civilians and patients there," said 21-year-old Anas Muhammad Faiz Al-Sharif, who described working as a cleaning supervisor at the hospital.

The body of Itai Svirsky, who was taken hostage on October 7 from Kibbutz Be'eri, was recovered by the IDF in a joint operation with the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), the military announced on Wednesday. There are 100 hostages who remain in Hamas captivity in the Gaza Strip, 14 months after they were kidnapped.

“Itai, a member of Kibbutz Be’eri, was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, 2023. He was tragically killed in captivity, and his body was held in Gaza,” said the statement. “As part of the operation, the Kidnapped and Missing Persons team in the IDF Human Resources Division, responsible for supporting the families of the kidnapped, worked closely with the Institute for Forensic Medicine and the Israel Police to identify his remains,” it continued.

JERUSALEM — The Israeli military on Monday called on residents of southern Lebanon to immediately evacuate homes and other buildings where it claimed Hezbollah stores weapons and said it was carrying out “extensive strikes” against the militant group.

It was the first warning of its kind in nearly a year of steadily escalating conflict and came after a particularly heavy exchange of fire on Sunday. Hezbollah launched around 150 rockets, missiles and drones into northern Israel in retaliation for strikes that killed a top commander and dozens of fighters.

Israeli forces discovered the bodies of six hostages in a 65-foot-deep tunnel in Rafah, approximately a kilometer from where hostage Farhan Alkadi was recently freed. The IDF had no precise intelligence on the hostages' location in recent months but knew there were captives in the sector, leading to a gradual and cautious operation in Rafah since the ground offensive began.

Forces had no direct confrontation with Hamas terrorists who killed hostages; 'The IDF and security forces are doing everything possible to bring all hostages home as quickly as possible. This news shakes us all,' says army spokesperson Hagari
