I was going to say.. I’m pretty good with git, and rebasing still gives me anxiety haha

We have the feature that scrolls to the top when you tap the top of your screen, but it should also save your last location. Then if you’re at the top of the feed, when you tap the top of the screen it scrolls back down to your last position in the feed.

Boost used to have this. It’s useful when you accidentally touch the top of the screen, and didn’t mean to scroll to the top.

Holy shit.. that has to be one of the first time I've seen a legitimate test of those blades on a real person. Impressive!

Currently using Memmy. The developer adds new features a few times a week. It’s actually pretty fun to get the updates and see them building it piece by piece. We just got a profile page as of this morning. Interface has the gestures I liked in boost. Haven’t used others since most the betas are full.

Agreed. I tried to avoid using virt-manager for my vm’s.. I get that it is more powerful from terminal, but man is it a lot of information to learn how to communicate.

What? lol. Have you tried searching for something and sifting through the sea of garbage blog content on the internet?

Amazing! Posted 16 hours ago, love how everything is coming together around here haha. I see how they're doing it. I think it would be smart if the Lemmy/Kbin software built a keyword that was guaranteed not to change onto every page. This definitely helps fill the need!

for anyone that didn't look, they're just using the intext filter when searching to grab the default words out of the footer, thus filtering your searches.

For example, I could search "best blender reddit" and browse tons of threads and gather advice. Is there an equivalent we can do in the future with Lemmy/Kbin?

I think it’s kind of funny, not sure if it was intended that way. Aren’t lemmings known for following each other, even if it is clearly not the right thing to do?

Yes reading in the dark is a good point! Makes reading before bed so much easier for me.

I read more books as audiobooks than other medium, but I enjoy and interact with ebooks/paper more thoroughly. Audiobooks have the convenience factor of being able to read while doing other things, which I love. Ebooks take the win over paper mainly because our local library has an amazing digital library!

Yeah that makes sense! I feel like this is why the fediverse might actually work especially well during this battle, being that the battle is literally “everybody uses the site differently and now all of the ways you love to use the site are going away” (obviously not old Reddit but you get the picture)

Yeah.. I remember posting multiple times on some subs EVERY time I wanted to post because I thought I understood the rules.. I mostly comment nowadays because of it tbh! Posting anxiety is a solid way to put it
