Looks interesting! And this is going to sound odd but the synopsis reminds me of Disney's Atlantis where somehow all of the Atlanteans forgot how to read...
I was super pumped for Paschal last year before his injury so excited to see what he can do with a full off-season to get healthy, train, and study.
I forget where I saw it but somebody was saying Alim is going to benefit from the rookie Brodric Martin coming in and just being so physically imposing. Between Alim getting faster and Brodric possibly needing two blockers should be exciting to watch up the middle.
I'm trying to keep a post a day going here so the community doesn't feel dead if more people show up. So I rounded up some Lions Twitter reporters and just putting what I found here. Unfortunately I'm not sure the venn diagram of Lemmy users / people who left Reddit and sports people overlap much. Maybe we'll get more in July when the API changes actually happen or leading up to week 1 against the Chiefs.
Think this is kinda a repost on the vote mechanics. But we need to come to some consensus on how something has "passed" and then do a vote on that.
Unfortunately that discussion is already so cluttered it's kinda hard to determine what the best course of action is. Think this would be easier to implement on a more feature rich platform. I.e. the vote thread gets stickied for N days and user created posts are petitions with some metric to get stickied for the final vote.
Might need to limit votes in this community to this concept till it gets figured out.
Was thinking having a vote be #1 in Agora for 7 days might be an interesting pass metric. Would guarantee anyone who visited saw it. Would also naturally slow down rule changes and build a cooling off period so things don't get passed because of some temporary kerfuffle.
Posting in the thread but not up voting any thing could work. And then possibly only count votes from people who posted? Easy enough to post "seconded" and upvote what you agree with or vice versa.
Stonemeier always has excellent production values.
Well if the four of us agree that's 50% of the community. Anyone know how to change it? Do we need who created the community to do it? Have no idea.
Easy answer here but Amon Ra St. Brown. Just quietly one of the best wide receivers in the league. First jersey.
Understand the o-like take though. Used to be a Browns fan and Joe Thomas was the man.
I didn't do the whole game in one sitting but I was glued to my chair for hours when I started Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Remember looking at them time on my phone and going, "huh, it's after midnight". Then again later and finding out it was the beginning of daylight savings time. Went to sleep, woke back up, and played all day again. Fantastic game.
The in-laws heard about it from the Today show and begged to play it. Ended after the first round and howls of "The Today show lied". It was not a pleasant evening but that was only a part of it.
