Huh? Poultry is in the news for illness reasons all the time, lettuce comes up often too. Not saying it isn’t for scummy corner cutting reasons, but don’t act like taco bell is somehow the first chain to give someone food poisoning.

I dunno what fire fighters you’ve met, but the ones I know get paid absolute dick to respond at all hours to about an 80/20 mix of “really stupid people doing really stupid things, often repeatedly” and tragic accidents. Out of all the issues to have with “the big state” the fire department is a weird one.

Every time someone asks me the make and model, I give a puzzled look in c/[email protected]
