I played quite a bit of Deadcells but I can totally see why someone wouldn't like it. It also ended up getting somewhat tedious eventually

Red Dead Redemption 2 Online

Yeah I know there were a lot of complaints but there weren't enough. The Player vs Player part of that game could have been fun, but it's literally the worst competitive multiplayer I have ever played in my entire life. Holy God how could it be so bad?? Nothing happens, you just get instantly headshot and thrown back to instantly respawn 100 yards back, forever, and ever. I call it Headshot Sisyphus 2

yes that's a very good birthsign especially because it raises the floor on your hit chance even with no fatigue left.

But I was just doing a Morrowind run in the last couple weeks, and I never had an issue, just made Long Blade a major skill, kept my fatigue up, and smacked people down. It also helps to mostly do power attacks - the chance to hit really seems higher IMO.

I was born under the Charioteer which is also amazing (What? Morrowind? Slow? What ever do you mean?)

And you're not playing Morrowind right unless you stack up money until you hit 100k and start buying piles of Grand Soul Gems, Summon Golden Saint scrolls and Soul Trap scrolls and then constant-effect enchanting every single article of clothing, either by paying an enchanter who also buys soul gems and getting your money back each time, or by pureeing 400 ash yams and 400 netch leather until you have a galaxy brain and doing it yourself. You can make fatigue just stop ever going away

You had to know what you're doing. You have to use the skills you picked for your character, and you had to conserve your fatigue. That's not intuitive but when you do it, you don't woosh very much

I also give every single character a minor skill in Alchemy to help them eat Saltrice and Marshmerrow, the cheapest fatigue and health potions EVER

oh damnit i literally forgot to put that in there

Absolutely. There are certain types of names that should honestly just be illegal, and are in some countries. For me, as the level of weirdness goes up, it actually becomes ok and then not OK again, a couple times

From least to most unconventional:

  • Common names ✅
  • Uncommon names ✅
  • War criminal names ❌
  • Misspelled common names like "Gianathunn" ✅ fine but why, why??
  • Profanity or any kind of plain-language degrading like "fuckass" or "dumpsterwater"❌
  • Common names where you arbitrarily assign letters and claim they represent different sounds "Oh it's pronounced Johnathan, spelled like 'Pppppppp'❌
  • Common words that don't even sound like a name, like naming your kid fuckin "Best One or "And The" or some shit, so every time someone says their name everyone else thinks they had a stroke❌
  • Completely unique invented names that don't sound like any word ✅ Just typin out random letters like "Bandalagika" or "Diunchip" doesn't bother me at all because you assume it has to be a name
  • Literally unpronounceable names ❌ Fuck you

If the libs get a 4-3 majority on the supreme court, we could go the way of Michigan in just a few years (claw our way out of several circles of hell). Wisconsin could go back to having basic liberal democracy and potentially flip the federal Congress.

And we could likely get rid of right to work laws here.

Right now the state is about 52% blue, but Republicans have nearly double the representation in the legislature, and triple the federal representation. Absolutely wild.

EDIT: Good job you two the chuds ate shit tonight, it's called for Protasiewicz by a country mile

Republicans are realizing the "stolen election" thing is pretty substantially suppressing their voters.

So they're gonna "fix" it.

The story may be generated out of whole cloth. Or it will be based on some meaningless resolution passed by both parties in Congress that is just like "We hereby agree elections shouldn't have fraud in them"

QAnon and the Trump campaign will pretend they have decisively dismantled the Democrats' election fraud machine that won 2020 for them. We did it! Oh my god we're back in action! Now's our chance to take it to them and PROVE what happens when we have a REAL election.

Calling it right the fuck now. It's on the tip of their tongues.

Uvalde, T.X. SWAT team.

I've never supported the death penalty, however:

According to Texas law, felony murder is punishable by state execution. Due to Supreme Court rulings, a key component is acting with reckless indifference to human life.

Massive content warning: https://twitter.com/paleofuture/status/1529652093354536961

There is the reckless indifference to human life.

These parents had the right to save their own children, and that right was denied because the police were too cowardly to risk themselves. Despite being on the scene before the shooter even entered the school, they held up the rescue for a full hour in order to wait for ballistic shields.

You can see parents being held back, some of them literally pinned to the ground. Tasers are out. On the parents of the fucking mass shooting victims.

Just under half of the victims survived. There's no telling yet how many more children would have survived if medical care could have been provided before they bled out in that classroom.

These are accomplices. To child murder. They directly caused more deaths by sheer cowardice, indifference, and assault on the parents.

The only potentially morally defensible use of capital punishment is on the violent actors of the state for extreme crimes against the populace, and it happens to line up with existing punishments on the books in Texas.

Will any US state, in this century, have the political will to even place one of these people on trial for child murder? Of course not. And adventurism is not only insane and immoral, it's also absolutely counterproductive. But it's absolutely within your right to advocate for the fair trial, appeals process, and lethal injection of every mother fucking pig on the grounds of that school.
