You'd need to create another account, pixelfed is currently working on a "login with mastodon" feature that will probably be released pretty soon, but even with that you're still technically creating another account, you'll just be able to log into it using a mastodon account and copy your bio, profile pic, follows, and things like that if you want.

But yeah, there's nothing for lemmy

Well, yeah, hello! I'm new here, just created my account, i have experience on the fediverse but lemmy is still pretty new to me. I don't really know if i should be posting this here, sorry if not, but i cant think of somewhere that looks much better, but anyway i wanted to make a little question, like, the classic thing with android apps, i know it's everything on early development but like, after creating this account i was going to login on jeroba on my phone, but it said the instance needed to be at least on lemmy 0.18 in order to login there, i get that, but majority of instances don't seem to have updated yet too soo... what are all you guys doing while the update isn't here yet? i tried another app here (lemmur) but it couldn't even recognize the existence of this instance so whatever. Well, what i wanted to know as i said was what are y'all doing, just using the web version, or maybe there is some other app that still works on 0.17.4?
