32 bit has only 4 gigabytes which is easily saturated by a single socket computer while 64 bit has 16 million terabytes of addressable possible memory,. you will never see that number ever used in a single socket machine in the history of humanity.

they should probably not make gpus that use that much power. clearly, they are going over board with the chip size. to the point where they are charging 3x the price of what a flagship card used to cost a decade ago. if they do something like that you can't fault the standard, they should come up with their own solution that works if they go overboard like that

honestly great price for it, the desktop version of the 7480 will probably cost 300-350. you would be looking at more than that barebones system and something a few times larger

they have to have actual products out there either in consumer or business space. RISC V makes a lot of sense for networking equipment and embedded applications in general where a microcontroller doesn't cut it and you need more processing power. at least for now
