The bamboo yarn is so slick that the ends work their way free. I wove all the ends in and snipped them close to the work like I do for everything else (when I actually do 🫠). Most ends are sticking out by about half an inch after a few weeks of wear.

Here's is the cursed scarf. Progress slowed because of birthday party preparation but this should be it this time.

I'm pretty sure everyone is tired of seeing my Halloween-y double knit scarf. I suspect it's cursed because every time I put it on my son, it "needs one or two more charts" to be long enough.

Early in my career, I picked up as much overtime as I could at the hospital. I worked 13 days in a row with three of the those days being 12 hour shifts. My coworkers informed that I was a real bitch after day 7 and it would be better for all of us if I didn't work more than seven days in a row.

I took their words to heart. There's working hard to get ahead and then there is killing yourself and making everyone around you miserable.

I told my husband that I lost yarn chicken (knitting) and he directed me to this meme. He saw it in his feed a couple of minutes earlier 🤣.

I was just talking with my union rep today about ideas to be working for with our next contract. This is job is the first time in my career that my role has been included in a union and I love it.

I think one of two more charts will finish it off. (Break room table helping me out)

I've been resisting the urge to get angora bunnies for almost 10 years now. I don't know how much longer I can hold out.
