No. If I want a light hearted game to just sit down and relax, that’s what I want. I don’t want the game to say “you know, this guy isn’t grinding enough, let’s make them gather more resources to build that thing he’s trying to build”. It’s forcing a grind and I won’t buy a game that does this.

Be prepared that in the beginning, using the “All” feature, will be the best way to decipher what content you want to see and what you don’t. Block communities you don’t like, subscribe to the ones you do and don’t do either the ones you are on the fence about. Over time, your “Subscribed” filter will be great. Switching accounts on Lemmy is very easy to do to keep things organized in case you want an account for NSFW content and one you don’t…you know…for research purposes.
