I general most things on Tidal do sound better than YT or Spotify. One of the easiest ways to notice this is on a good car stereo system. Tidal needs to be set to hifi mode. Even on a good pair of over ear headphones the difference can be appreciated by some. Where it would be hard not to notice is on a larger system in a large room or hall played at high volume. The YT stream will start to get a "blaring" quality whereas the Tidal stream will sound more full and less harsh. You might even start to appreciate subtle instrumentals in a song you hadn't realized were there at higher volumes.

These particular apps may be provider added, but Samsung has a hardcore reputation for bloatware on their Android devices. I can't think of another manufacturer that includes more junk ware than Samsung.

Are we not doing phrasing in Lemmy?

So no lawyers in Peru?

If you want to score some Lemcoins to use on here just let me know. I'll send you a bitcoin link that will allow you to buy them while they are still cheap and Lemmy is on the ground level.

Welcome. As you can see lots of room for growth, but there is a lot of positive effort being made.

Do they? I used RIF and honestly don't recall a way to even see or use coins on there. If there was I never touched it.

This explains the secret sauce.

I'm assuming you are new to Samsung? They are the kings of junk software.

Perfect! This is exactly what people say about everything good on the internet in the early days.

There in California it's entirely believable.

Hey dog nerds / makers. I was surprised to find there isn't a commercial option out there for detecting when a dog is doing a dump. For my pup at least an acellerometer that shows he is motionless and at an angle between standing and sitting should be a pretty good predictor of pooing behavior. I saw some blogs about a guy building something like this in 2014 but nothing further. An old smartwatch seems like a good place to start with this. Any suggestions for an app or way to script this on a galaxy watch? I'm not a coder, but curious to hear some thoughts on this.

Hi dog lovers. Where is everybody? Is there another sub? The cat people are kicking butt.

Little help if you can. My neighborhood is overrun by hungry deer (and we are not allowed to hunt them 😔). I put blood meal on my landscaping to prevent them from eating all my plants but it turns out my dog loves the stuff. He keeps literally eating the mulch and dirt and the plants I flavored for him and digging like crazy too. Any suggestions for a secondary safe treatment that I can put on to keep my little stinker away from the blood meal?

Total Lemmy newb. RIF refuge and not going back to reddit. I'm sure responses here will be biased and I know the system is stressed right now I guess, but does this server have a reputation for unreliability? I've been pretty disappointed with the uptime.

Saw my old foodnetwork hero AB disgrace himself on a commercial for snake oil brain sharpening pills. Such a pity to see someone that has a keen scientific mind turn his back on sound scientific logic for a quick buck. He knows this is garbage and it preys on his own fan base and the elderly. Suck on a cheesecloth sack of uncooked Rocky mountain oysters Alton.

Decent mildlyinteresting sub on Lemmy but it feels really barren out here (reddit refuge here). Can't find a sub for my breed of dog or my make of car. Looking for some suggestions for solid Lemmy subs to make me feel like there is something going on here.

Thx u.
