I use Mlem. It's an open source app that's native for iOS. I'd recommend it [email protected]

Similarly Blind Guardian's cover of Mr Sandman

I just beat it yesterday. Took me about 115 hours but I enjoyed most of my time in that except for the last bits of side content which I thought weren't balanced that well. I think it's definitely a polarizing game but if you like it then it's probably the best Final Fantasy game to come out in the past 20 years.

If you're not enjoying it though then just drop it. It's just a video game at the end of the day.

I hope Oda enjoys the break. He deserves it

Dragon Ball was the first manga I read. I still own every volume of the original series and Z that I bought when I was a kid. It probably took me a year or two to collect and save up for each one. I read the series so many times when I was a kid and played every single game of it that I could get my hands on. The anime wasn't on tv where I grew up so that was the only way for me to experience it. I was absolutely addicted to the series. It's probably one of the most formative pieces of media in my life and shaped who I am today.

Introducing friends to Dragon Ball, pretending to be Goku or Vegeta with my friends and not so pretend fighting, reading it on long car journeys, buying Dragon Quest because it looked like Dragon Ball and so many more. Thank you Toriyama for all of those memories.

Gonna wait to play this till the definitive edition is out. Learned my lesson with Persona 5 and Royal.

Not anymore I think? Pretty sure since at least last year games with Denuvo are no longer crackable. Or at least no one is cracking them.

I'm looking forward to and dreading this at the same time. I really enjoyed Elden Ring but eventually got burnt out playing it after Leyndell and just started googling what I'd missed and doing it before finishing the game.

I hope this dlc is more focused and not another 150 hours of content. I'd be more than happy with 20 - 30. Also show us Miquella!

Based on the article he called them out after they didn't show support for Palestine at the end of the show. The comedian also is from Belfast which explains why he has such a strong opinion on this.

I would hope that any Israeli citizen is against the genocide that their government is doing and would show support to stop people being killed. If they disagree publicly in an open place like this I'd expect them to be called out on it.

Doubt it's a fully handheld console. Maybe something similar to the PS5 controller with the screen in the middle they released last year?

Yeah, agree. That's why I think just having a fun time expansion could be good. Although harder to make players care if the stakes are low I guess?

I personally won't be playing this expansion for a while anyway. Maybe next year when I have more free time so I'll get to see the general consensus before going in. Hope it's good.

Absolutely mad what's going on.

It didn't matter in the end but I'm still curious.

  • Mysterio base power = 4
  • Play Bast, set power of Mysterio and clones to 3
  • After playing Shadow King I expect the power to go back to 4 but instead it lowers to 0? Anyone know why?

My own thoughts.

Pros:

Overall I'm enjoying the game. I'd say I'm about 60% through the it and just today finished what was probably the hypes boss fight I've ever played in a game.

The story is good to great depending on the moment and most of the characters (while nothing special) are like able enough and I care about them and what will happen to them.

The combat system is good and gives the player lots of options. Also there's no drawback to trying out different play styles since resetting moves is free.

I do miss the turn based combat but Final Fantasy's been moving away from that since FF 12 really so if you're still a fan of the more recent main line games this is probably the best one since 12.

Cons:

The combat is good but overall I think the game is too easy. I'm playing on the normal difficulty with none of the help items equipped but I still haven't died once in game yet. Normal enemies die ridiculously fast and mid level bosses aren't much better. The main bosses then, while taking a while to whittle down, never pose too much of a threat. At least so far.

Also the side quests in this game just aren't good. They're so mmo like. The game would probably be better without them honestly. Same for the larger open areas. They feel too small for an open world but are still basically empty with monsters and crafting loot. I think the game would be better with just the hub areas/towns and maybe have more focused side character moments in the actual main game instead?

Overall the game is good and since I had no expectations going in to this one I'm having a good time. Hopefully later on the game becomes a bit more challenging and the story has a satisfying conclusion!
