Lemmy user here. I'm completely unaware of this spam situation, could someone please enlighten me?

Honestly it kinda did the opposite for me. Picked it up on sale, wandered aimlessly, gave up after I kept dying, never picked it up again. Elden ring feels like it's meant for people who know the basic format well enough that they can do it without a guide.

Compared to later on when I tried dark souls, and the more linear nature made it way easier to pick up. It's still not my type of game, but it was enjoyable at least.

I think that's a cat but I'm not entirely sure. Could you add 500 arrows and red circles pointing to it?

Also what are those two white things? I need LABELS

Honestly yeah. It's kinda a snowball effect. Once you learn how to do it then it becomes easier to learn from watching others.

It's like trying to learn how to program by reading someone else's code, but without even knowing what a variable or a function is first.

A bar is technically a restaurant I think. At least I feel the terminology can be vaguely applied.

For those who don't get it, the joke is diabetes causes unmetabolized sugar to end up in your urine.

Wrote my own but it fucking sucks so I usually just use the factory default.

And? 1: the average person gives zero fucks about crypto, so for 99% of people that's not what it is. 2: calling moo deng a crypto mascot is like calling doge a crypto mascot. It's just a popular meme that crypto bros decided to appropriate. 3: missed opportunity to call it moon deng. 4: this is literally just a shitcoin. There's a shitcoin themed around literally everything.

Has nothing to do with crypto

Really hope that when one day Nintendo dies due to their own incompetence/negligence, everything they've ever done becomes lost media and they fade into complete obscurity.

If they don't want to have their shit preserved then so be it, they'll be forgotten and the world will move on without them.

I think there's a difference between enjoying the media of a problematic person vs continuing to financially support said person and give their media continued relevance, thereby continuing to give them a platform with which to spew bigotry and hate.

You don't own physical games either.

The solution here is DRM-free digital downloads.
