They all look a bit similar, but still, there's some pleasant pics there.

Because of seeing this article this morning I booked in and just had mine on the way home. Free here in Queensland.

Oh God thank goodness for this day to come around. I'm sure I've been fighting some kind of illness for a few weeks. Every day has been a struggle to get through. We finish at 12 on Fridays, a workmate told me yesterday that they are doing an extra two hours today and working Saturday. I fully intend to not be a part of that.

Also speaking of hours, I found out yesterday how long I'm going out to site for. I had thought it was just a few weeks, seems like it's going to be six months or more. Bummer. Ten hour days and Saturdays. Oh god that doesn't sound nice at all. Hey the money will be good, but who wants to spend that much time at work. ( I'm an older fart so I certainly don't ) It's at a big ugly place out at Fisherman's Island too. Potentially dangerous and full of regulations. I think I'll just be a spotter and that means standing around and no phones allowed.

Gee sounds like great fun. Oh well, think of the money I tell myself. Have a lovely day everybody.

Well they can fly yet live on the ground, lay their eggs on the ground, raise their young on the ground.

But the very silly part is, you can throw a handful of chicken towards them for instance, one will pick a piece up and even though there's like 15 pieces of chicken to choose from one of them will constantly simply chase another one that has a piece in its mouth. I'm assuming it's a younger one that hasn't worked things out yet but it's frustrating to witness.

Also they just sit in silly places at times. I was helping a mate earlier in the week at his house and there was one just sat next to a pile of concrete next to the cement mixer. Oh and they don't seem to seek shelter in the pissing down rain.

So yeah, bit silly.

I adore these creatures but having observed them outside my home for over two years I have come to the realisation that they're quite silly.

First let me state that I hate that orange fuck.

However, he has been carrying out some promises that he made I believe. He promised tariffs, and deporting people.

Yeah I hear you about the LPG issues. I get it for $1.09 so it's not terrible. Freedom Fuels sell it for almost $1.50 which really does stuff things up.

And yes to electric, it really is coming along nicely. BYD is a weird name but damn they're producing nice looking vehicles and they're kicking arse.

Sleep is such a strange thing. I've been on courses this week and back to work today. This means that I'm getting out of bed 90 minutes earlier. I've been going to bed at pretty much the same time also. So the weird thing is that I feel more awake awaiting my ferry this morning than I have the last three mornings.

Another odd thing to do with sleep, I have in the past easily survived off 6 hours when working, but then if I'm having days off I'll be in bed for like ten hours. ( Or more ) Another thing about my sleep patterns is that I usually wake up in the night for an hour or so at which time I get on Reddit until I fall asleep again. ( Battery saver on so black screen ) That's how I generally nod off in the first place also. I've been doing that part for over ten years now. If I don't do that my mind races and I'm then even more awake.

On a completely different subject, due to going to courses this week I have been going on the same roads that I used to in my last job. My Ute is LPG which is getting harder to find. I noticed that two of the servos that I used to go to now don't sell it at all. Luckily my current trip to work has one on the way, and there's another one just past my place of work. In the old days all the cabs were KOG and the stuff was everywhere. This is not a great situation.

Well there's my ranting for the morning. I have an email that I should be spending time on instead really.

Have a lovely day, It's almost Friday.

Haha. Oh don't worry I have zero faith in everything he says.

Cranky pants was Monday. Yesterday was a different part of the same course and we had an awesome teacher. Down to earth, casual enough but still got the info across. He made the day nice enough. I thanked him at the end of the day and said it has been great to meet him.

Wait, didn't rump finish this "on day one" ?

I just moved out of the house where these were taken from. Nice memory.

My phone just made this collage. Nice memories as I just moved out of that house.

I hope this is OK to post here. I had previously broken my mower due to hitting a septic vent, the piston blew through the top of the engine, oops. Consequently I had let the grass get a bit long and as a result I "collected" many seeds while fixing it all up. Watched a movie last night and did this chore at the same time. Just not fun at all.
