Hundreds of years ago, society was so bored that we all gathered together to watch people kill each other in an arena. If we were lucky we would get to see bloodshed and the emperor will release the lions!

Humans have been playing games far longer than the digital age has been going on for. Why would anyone pay to watch people throw a ball around for hours? I guess it's fun to watch?

Human interaction? Why would you want that? The sweet cold embrace of mother google is all we need nowadays friend.

Thanks for the post, I hate the nightmares it brings but I didn't know these hellbeasts existed before today.

As a Souls' player since PS3 Demons Souls, this concept is so foreign to me and I love it. I have opened the crafting menu to craft a furnace pot once and instead beat my head against the game over and over until I "succeeded".

Crafting used to be fairly useless (glowstones exempted) and now you've convinced me to do a "crafting only" run and make try make it ER a survival game. Not like I needed another 150 hours invested in this masterpiece.

Well if you want to make it easier to be alone, next time you see him look him dead in the eye and say "Fuck off". He won't try anything after that and you can go back to being alone if that's what you need. No point worrying about whether someone is attracted to you if you have zero intent on following up (even as a friend) - burn the bridge and save yourself the worry.

You can't ask a person the same question multiple times? Someone better tell my 3 year old.

When was the last time you asked someone "What should I Google to find 'x'"? If someone asked me for knowledge and then asked how to find more info on it I'd be happy to show them what to search, and I suspect most people with an interest in anything would do the same. Weirdly, people like sharing things. It's how we managed to survive this long.

Fucking damn it. You've shit the internet again? It's going to take us weeks to clean this mess up!

But that is no longer a niche community for my specific interest. Tai Chi, Muay Thai and BJJ are all martial arts. They are not alike.

Nothing changed with Helldivers. The game is still blocked in over 100 countries and people who rightfully purchased the game still can not play it. Sure we don't have to create an account, but that was annoying -not an actual issue. The real issue was thousands of people suddenly losing access to their game because Sony wants conversion.

Sony made a social media post. They didn't fix shit. But now the backlash is gone and the countries are still blocked, they can silently reinstate the bullshit in 3 months time.

Are we talking easier than Plex+ VPN and torrent? My buddy can access all his content anywhere he can login to Plex. It just means pre-downloading.

Genuinely curious if it's worth giving up an already setup Plex server to look into this.

The linked wiki page mentions enforcement is rare, but reading on it does detail they have enforced the law. They did this by killing the man AND the child he was raping. That does sound like a fun time for all involved, I would love to visit!

If these creatures can experience pain in the same conceptual way we do: they painfully clipped the ants legs and they didn't return them to normal. Those ants were in hell.

Else: it was painless and the ants still had stump legs for the rest of their existence.

Which is why the meme is "Haha funny tall ants are dumb" instead of the slightly less fun "Ants without legs are confused af"

You are only as safe as you let yourself be.

I've had no issues with most of the sites in the mega thread, and if you utilise a bit of common sense you should be fine.

Get a VPN, download Malwarebytes and check the torrent comments before you download anything. New torrent with zero comments and no way for you to verify? If it's not a site you have grown to trust, give it a miss for a week. Even if you do trust the site, if something in your head says "this isn't right", just wait or find an alternative.

Most other content is easy because hiding malware inside of a movie torrent is more difficult and easier to detect. Games require you to pay a bit of attention because I can name any malware I want "setup.exe" and a lot of people will mindlessly open it expecting a game to install.

For what it's worth, I used FitGirl when I was a student and didn't have any troubles with her packs. Not sure if anything has changed in the last ~4 years though.

These have been accumulating around the cracks of my house for a few weeks. Google searches of Orange orbs, orange eggs, glossy orange eggs etc haven't been helpful. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? I'm assuming some sort of insect egg/cocoon?

The vocalist recently lost his best friend in a car crash and this song is how he expressed and coped with the emotional pain.
