Objectively true and aligns with Newsom and other's critiques of why the LA situation is bad in the first place

Objectively false as demonstrated by all the unreported crimes against marginalized individuals in places where state and local law enforcement report detainees to ICE. Would you report a rape or assault against you if you knew police would lock you up and send you to a gulag in El Salvador because you don't have the proper paperwork? Would you come forward as a witness to a crime under the same circumstances? Most people don't which is the entire reason why "sanctuary cities" exist.

You can't just cherry pick shit you dislike

What exactly did I cherry pick here? I quoted you directly with zero edits.

this statement was part of a compound resolution EXCLUSIVELY about the Boulder terrorist attack, in which DHS and ICE were positive forces. That's what all the "whereas" means, it means "in the context of"... stop intentionally misinterpreting things to be mad about it.

The "whereas" is just outlining what happened and giving a pretext for this dystopian purity test. The resolution is absolutely not exclusively about what happened in Boulder as it references federal authorities and the nation as a whole. In what way are DHS and ICE retroactively "positive forces" in an attack that had already occurred with a suspect that is already in custody? This is nonsense.

nothing to do with LA situation.

(2)

affirms that free and open communication between State and local law enforcement and their Federal counterparts remains the bedrock of public safety and is necessary in preventing terrorist attacks; and

(3)

expresses gratitude to law enforcement officers, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel, for protecting the homeland.

Is the "homeland" for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement restricted to Colorado only? I'm at a loss for how you can claim this is only about a specific incident in Colorado. This resolution states that state and local law enforcement sharing information with ICE is "the bedrock for public safety" and 75 House Dems agreed with that.

75 Democrats Express 'Gratitude' to ICE in Antisemitism Vote Amid LA Riots

no matter how bad the stuff the Republicans do, it's the democrats fault?

Because this is typical Republican behavior which surprises no one much like how there are different rules for how children act versus adults. Democrats are supposed to be the opposition party but with their actions, they regularly condone and enable the worst aspects of Republican behavior even if their empty rhetoric says otherwise.

I'm sure a bunch of aides are furiously typing up letters stating their disapproval and concern at this very moment. A show of force like that ought to get Trump to back down.

Based on your username, I can declare you an expert on the subject matter.

Yeah there are a lot of reddit-esque comments here acting like they're too smart to be fooled by that.

You might look into Portainer. It gives you a nice GUI to manage docker-compose files, create stacks, edit and update, etc. On my Proxmox server, I have two LXCs set up that run almost all my services like immich, frigate, radarr/sonarr, VPN, qbittorrent, homarr, etc You'll probably find docker compose much easier to understand than plain docker especially considering there are a million templates out there that you can mostly copy and paste.

Camera card setup (self.homeassistant)

I've got several Amcrest cameras connected through Frigate (running standalone) to HA but I'm not sure how to properly setup the camera card so that the 'thumbnail' shown on the dashboard cards refreshes every so often.

Previously I had them connected directly to HA via the Dahua integration and set the camera streams as both the thumbnail image and as what's displayed when you click the card and this all worked fairly well (the thumbnail would refresh every few minutes) but now after switching to Frigate, the thumbnails have remained static since the day it was initially set up and never refresh and I'm not sure how to fix this.

The cameras are all PoE and connected to an Amcrest NVR which does the main recording while Frigate just sees the substream and uses it for object detection and remote viewing through HA. Clicking the camera cards allows me to view the stream but for whatever reason the thumbnails never refresh.

Is there something specific in there you wanted to reference?

I honestly think it's more of a gimmick than anything because no two identical printers will run exactly the same and there's no way for it to accurately account for filament issues like poor quality plastic or moisture content. I can't see it being any more accurate than basic guidance or real general things to watch out for like printing overhangs without supports.

My Bambu X1C will do both of these and tell you when it's time to lube the Z axis screws for example, but I think all printers will shut down if the thermistor (what measures the heat) is reading incorrectly due to it being bad or a problem with the extruder heater since not doing so could be catastrophic rather than just giving you a shitty quality print.

What do you classify as independent?

I'm migrating from lemm.ee and just created an account here but for some reason I'm seeing only a handful to zero comments on sh.itjust.works posts even when they show hundreds of comments.

I'm vaguely familiar with similar federation issues where you might not see old comments if you're the first person to subscribe to a community on a different instance, but I don't understand why I can't see comments on posts from what is now my native instance.

Can anyone clarify what's going on?
