What the fuck is that symbol?
And none in India or Australia so far.
I kind of wonder why Valve are so coy about the number of Decks sold.
You'd think they'd be popping off about it nonstop.
You see, we are used to that kind of news because investors. Valve is private AFAIK so they don't need to specifically boast to the public to raise value.
And i bet that the last month thousands now feels pretty pissed.
Nah, anyone who buys this kind of tech regularly is used to this kind of thing. You liked it enough to buy it, so just enjoy it without regret and don't worry about what other people have.
The alternative is basically always being pissed off about your consumer electronics purchases, which is an emotionally stunted way to go through life. Which also explains why internet forums are filled with miserable people making such posts.
Not to mention, chances are the stuff you do have still has plenty of mileage left
it's valve,it's linux, that shit gonna still getting updates 10 years from today, from valve, and more 10 years, from the comunity drivers, and more 20 with kernel updates
The beauty of open source, plus valve cares a lot about its reputation
Yup, I've got my original 512 lcd since May last year. I'm going to try to get the special edition. I want that amazing looking case. The old one can go to my gaming daughter.
Haven’t they been dropping the price of the existing model over the past few months?
Can’t feel too angry if they still got a good deal.
I pre ordered it, waited like 8 months, the first delivery got stolen (fuck you fedex) and I would do it again at full price without a doubt. I fucking love that thing.
Valve have aggressively been chasing console prices for the SD
I'm fine if they make the part available for diy. I could see doing it at the same time as a full transparent shell swap. I would like to see a nicer full length nvme rear shell and adapter vs what is currently out there before committing though.
Edit: sounds like it's not compatible...
I feel like they'll make an easy option to upgrade the screen to OLED.

It's not OLED but still a screen upgrade: https://deckhd.com/
According to gamers nexus the package size is different so it’s not swappable
Nooooooo!!!!
It's time consuming, but because you are swapping it out, it won't be as nerve-wracking as doing something like a case swap where you need to make sure you don't damage the screen. If you live in a city there may be a cellphone repair shop or something similar that will do it for you.
