Try Jerboa instead. Lemmur, I believe isn't very actively developed. Jerboa works really well.

Not only works really well, but being very actively updated at the moment due to the exodus.
I understand it to be long abandoned.
I've got Jeroba working, but can't seem to find the search box (or button?) anywhere.
Try here
Is there any way to browse communities like on the web site? I was wondering if there was something under the three dots up there, but they don't seem to do anything.
Jerboa is considered to be an alpha build app I suggest just using the website as a progressive web app
Yeah the web app is pretty nice
I'm not sure. Only used Jerboa so far (needed something to fill the Sync spot on my phone). I imagine there are plenty of features to add and bugs to work out
Here's hoping people stick around after the blackouts on Reddit end. I'll still be kicking around here on the various instances. Warts aside I think I like it better here.
When you have the row of buttons across the bottom, search can be found by taking the second one (between Home and Inbox).
Yeah. I'm still trying to figure out Jerboa as well. Still pretty new to this.
I'm searching on the web for now.
Hi all, I've been on Lemmy for like a week so am clearly an expert.
To sum up: Lemmur is defunct, you want Jerboa for Android or Mlem for iOS. But on Android you can also install your home instance as an app to your home screen (in mobile Chrome, hit the three dots menu and "add to home screen" or "install app") and basically use the mobile website, which I have to be honest works a lot better than Jerboa in a lot of ways.
Jerboa's latest update (0.33, I think?) is a big improvement, it feels pretty good now. Not perfect yet, of course, but very nice progress in the last few days!
Excellent news! I'm keeping an eye on it for sure.

I like this tip.
lemmur gives me the same error message with lemmy.fmhy.ml...
Edit: no more problems with Jerboa
You have an extra T in there.
