What a shame that was an April Fools' prank... probably. They don't say it, but the video was released on March 31st 2019.

Why would he think that dropping electronics would be the best way to demonstrate the lack of a wire, though? 😬🤦

A computer mouse pluralised is technically mouses, but mice is accepted due to commonality.

I'll be around with more useless shit no one asked for but may find mildly, mildly, interesting.

I'll be long dead in the ground before I use the word 'mouses'.

On this day we remember the life of bizarrocullen, who has used the word 'mouses' and died just hours ago.

I can't argue with this

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Ok, now tell me what animal my trackball is.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Armadillo or hedgehog probably.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

That works.

I have an elecom huge at work, and when somebdy asks me what kind of mouse is this, I say it's not a mouse, it's a rat.

Why stop there? Let's rename the mouse buttons to mouse/hamster buttocks.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (2 children)

What is the scroll wheel then? Mouse cock?

[–] Kecessa 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

You guys don't call it the clit already?

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago (2 children)

No, that's the red-ish circular thingy on top that you press on and slightly move your fingers for great effect.

I miss my old ThinkPad.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Something, something, mouse balls

[–] [email protected] 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

As a bonus, "Xhamster" finally makes sense as a porn site name! I think.. 🤔

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (2 children)

What was the reasoning behind that name anyway, sounds a bit "hmmm" thinking about it now lol

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

The cheek-filling power of hamsters?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago

Yeah, now that you mention it, I think I'd prefer not to know 😄

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 year ago

My vocabulary has forever been altered.

[–] MartinXYZ 12 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Brilliant! We'll call the scroll wheel "the hamster wheel"!

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago (1 children)

People look at me weird when I turn the mouse upside down and rub it's balls.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Sometimes you gotta tickle its balls to wake it up.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago (2 children)

This had me wondering what the first mouse I ever used looked like as it was so long ago I don't remember, and it was this:

Makes me feel ancient. Still, it's better than the very first mouse from 1964, which looks like something from Fallout:

Second pic is peak ergonomics

[–] Patches 2 points 1 year ago

Back in the days when you asked someone to move the mouse to the button, and they picked that shit up off the desk 🤣.

I prefer lemming

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

If you do that, I'm making a mouse company named hampter.
