Is musk in completion with this guy?

[–] [email protected] 11 points 12 hours ago

No one is more fertile than a scumbag

[–] [email protected] 25 points 16 hours ago (2 children)

Wow you kind of got to feel bad for his six real children. He says he sees no difference between any of his children. He sees no difference between the six kids he supposedly raised, or I guess his Nanny's raised I don't know, and the 95 Plus children who came from sperm donations. What a fucked up thing to say. What a bizarre way of looking at the world.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

his six real children

I mean, he fathered them. They're his biological children. And he's a billionaire, so its not like he doesn't have enough cash to spread around. No one is going hungry.

I guess his Nanny’s raised I don’t know

Right. The dude just wanted to maximize his baby-making rate. He didn't want to be a father. He just wanted to have offspring because he's in a Quiverfull cult in Silicon Valley that considers your number of children some kind of high score.

What a bizarre way of looking at the world.

That's billionaires for you. Abolish them.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 16 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago) (2 children)

I'm not saying I feel bad for them cuz they're not getting all the money. I'm saying I feel bad for them because they're supposed father says there's no difference between them and sperm donations he's never met. That's got to fuck a kid up.

he is probably completely invested in the idea that his genetic material is the real shit and is trying to make sure he disseminates it successfully. You gotta love these people who think that everyone else in the world is a NPC.

[–] [email protected] 97 points 21 hours ago (3 children)

Did people read the article? He's been doing sperm donation for 15+ years, and wants to leave his inheritance to also be split with the kids that have come from sperm donation. Isn't this a good thing?

It's not like he's personally impregnated women for 100+ children. Which it seems to be what the comments here are reacting to?

Not saying this billionaire is a saint or anything, but it really doesn't look like people here are reading past the headline...

[–] [email protected] 45 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

Why not just tax the money lmao

[–] [email protected] 36 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago) (1 children)

Because we live in corporate dictatorships so wealth redistribution is the devil.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

It's fine if they are his bastard children, just as long as he has some blood relationship to the people he redistributes the wealth to

That's not weird at all...

That's not the issue though I think most people think it's gross because it was specifically done to get as many progeny as possible. I'm not arguing he's a racist or bigot but the quiver full mentality is specifically racist.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 20 hours ago

It's not like he's personally impregnated women for 100+ children.

Would have been a legend if he did though.

[–] [email protected] 192 points 1 day ago (11 children)

Why are all these fucking weirdos like he, Epstein, Musk obsessed with having the most progeny? Fucking malignant narcissists.

[–] [email protected] 102 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's natalism and it's a wierd and (you nailed it) narcissistic ideology.

[–] [email protected] 36 points 22 hours ago* (last edited 22 hours ago)

There's also a strong white supremacist aspect to natalism. It's a form of racial eugenics.

[–] [email protected] 68 points 1 day ago

QUESTION:

Why are all these fucking weirdos like he, Epstein, Musk obsessed with having the most progeny?

ANSWER:
They are...

Fucking malignant narcissists.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 16 hours ago

They literally think they are part of a Master Race and that their magic jizz will create a future line of ubermensch.

It's esoteric fascism.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 13 hours ago

It begs questions that have only bad answers.

[–] [email protected] 44 points 1 day ago

Its called white supremacy. They want more white babies to be born.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Is it possibly an extension of their "line goes up" mentality? Or is there a possibility they're moving towards something more nefarious? 100 kids seems like a lot to try and manage if you're actually acknowleging them as progeny and distributing your wealth among them.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

If you're a billionaire, that's 10M dollars given per child assuming no taxes

[–] [email protected] 2 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

I was thinking of the logistics to set it up initially, but yeah to billionairres its probably easier to hire that out or something.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 18 hours ago

Trusts don't pay inheritance tax, and LTD companies don't pay capital gains. Loophole's everywhere, by design

[–] [email protected] 1 points 16 hours ago

Or is there a possibility they’re moving towards something more nefarious?

The Khashoggi killing had roots in a cutthroat Saudi family feud

The cutthroat scheming within the House of Saud over the following years matches anything in the fantasy series “Game of Thrones.” The fallout extended to the United States, China, Switzerland and other countries, as the two most powerful clans of the royal family jockeyed for power. As the tension increased, the royal court around Mohammed bin Salman, the new king’s favorite son, even dared to try to kidnap a member of the Abdullah faction in Beijing in a brazen operation in August 2016 that reads like a chapter in a spy thriller.

MBS, as Salman’s son is known, became increasingly anxious and aggressive toward those he considered enemies. Starting in the spring of 2017, a team of Saudi intelligence operatives, under the control of the royal court, began organizing kidnappings of dissidents abroad and at home, according to U.S. and Saudi experts. Detainees were held at covert sites. The Saudis used harsh enhanced interrogation techniques, a euphemism for torture, to make the captives talk. They were forced to sign oaths that if they disclosed any of what happened, they would pay a severe price.

This real-life drama was described to me in a series of interviews by prominent Saudis and U.S. and European experts, in the United States and abroad, in the weeks since Khashoggi’s death. These sources had firsthand knowledge of events but asked not to be identified because they involve sensitive international matters. The information was checked with knowledgeable U.S. sources to confirm its accuracy. It helps explain the vortex of rage and lawlessness that ultimately sucked in Khashoggi, a Post Global Opinions columnist, when he entered the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2.

Here’s the bottom line, for U.S. and Saudi experts who have reviewed the intelligence findings: Khashoggi was murdered by a team sent from the royal court in Riyadh, which was part of the rapid-action capability that had been organized 18 months before. Khashoggi’s provocative journalism and his ties to Qatar and Turkey had offended the increasingly autocratic crown prince, who issued a “bring him back” order in July 2018, one that wasn’t understood by U.S. intelligence until three months later, after Khashoggi’s disappearance in Istanbul.

I think I'm missing something because you don't usually donate sperm and then act like it's your children afterwards. It sounds like a creepy move to insert himself in the lives of a bunch of families.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

He can insert whatever he wants if he's leaving me a portion of his fortune.

Wow, his view of what makes someone your child is the absolute opposite of what I believe. Any child I raise is "my child". Anyone who considers me their mom is "my child", no matter who their biological parents are.

And, thankfully I've never been in a position to have to give one up for adoption but if so, I would say the parents who raised them are the parents, not me.

I really don't think he's their dad. If he wants to be a mysterious benefactor who gives them money because their moms used his sperm, that's not an awful thing to do, but saying they are his children is lunacy.

I sure hope he doesn't have any stepchildren, as presumably they'd be left out of this largesse.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 15 hours ago

people like him think that raising children = disseminating your genetic material. for him the kids are already lucky enough to get their prime genetic material.

[–] Reverendender 38 points 23 hours ago

I'm not trying be judgmental. But I have to say, I think that might be too many kids.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 21 hours ago

Mr Durov, 40, said he is the official father of six children with three partners. He started sperm donation 15 years ago and added that more than 100 babies were conceived that way.

He is worth US$13.9 billion (S$17.9 billion), according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

“I want to specify that I make no difference between my children: There are those who were conceived naturally and those who come from my sperm donations,” he said. “They are all my children and will all have the same rights.”

“I wrote my will very recently,” he noted. “I decided that my children would not have access to my fortune until a period of 30 years has elapsed, starting from today.”

Who would wilfully mingle with the broken genetics of a narcissist psychopath?

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Luckily narcissism isn’t inherited, it’s learned. But you know what else is inherited? Money.

That being said, I don’t have a lot of faith in the morals of a parent who’d have a kid for the money.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

Narcissism (NPL) is inherited and it's not learned. It's a DSM condition.

If you mean just being a jerk, then that doesn't look like this. That looks like Eichmann.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 hours ago

The DSM contains a wide range of disorders and illnesses, and just because one can find a diagnosis cataloged in the DSM does not mean it is naturally inherited or genetically predisposed. Any diagnostic deriving from trauma such as PTSD as a quick example would not fit genetic predisposition. But Narcissism can indeed derive from genetic predisposition if found in correlation with another clinical profile such as psychopathy, for instance, which research really found genetic predisposition for. Psychopathy will always contain Narcissism as a "feature" (for a lack of a better word) of the profile. But Narcissism as an isolated "feature" can be learned behaviour or accidentally re-enforced environmentally. Examples would be parents who immensely spoil an only child or learned behaviour by imitation in a setting, such as growing up in Hollywood, just to name two basic and obvious examples. Not to mention that sociopathic beahaviour is encouraged by capitalism, which is also intertwined with perceived Narcissism. It's a mess. Nature VS Nurture always is. This is all surface level of discussion, obviously. We could spend hours and hours on this. I hope I wasn't an annoyance though. Just thought to chime in between the two sides to say that is more nuanced than it is either one or the other.

As to this person in question... it's just another tech bro shitshow trainwreck of a human being. As to what is the Nature or the Nurture in this mess of an individual, I'm not so sure. These Silicon Valley like settings definitely attract these profiles, but it also definitely re-enforces this type of behaviour. Through mirroring or even peer pressure, emulation of behaviour can become inherent behaviour over time. So, who knows?
