It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

Not gonna jump on a Kickstarter but I like the idea behind this. Does anyone have experience with these automatic brake lights? They don't seem like the best idea to me but I'm open to being convinced.

I have an auto brake light integrated in my back light, works flawlessly and I find it a great addition to biking safely. I can also run the brake light without the backlight.

My dad recently picked up an automated brake light from the ALDI centre isle... so there are cheap options out there to try (and I imagine poor quality). But the tech wouldn't be too complex i wouldn't think - using an accelerometer.
They've had this tech in after market brake lights for motos for a while now.

Kind of an interesting design but honestly a well-adjusted MIPS helmet seems to fit me no problem already as long as it's not too small a size.

That's super cool, thanks for sharing.

To me it seems like extra complexity which I don't want in a helmet. Just a solid melon cap please. And I have a big head that's hard to find a fit for. But, interesting option for those who may need it.
