Liftoff as a name is so confusing because thats the name of one of the most popular FPV drone simulators. How do you even find this app on a regular web search?
Presumably the same way you find other apps that don't have the name of the protocol in the name? "Lemmy liftoff" and it's the first result for me.
You could say that Lemmy is a confusing name becausse it's the name of a very famous singer.
It's broken for some reason
Yep - the latest release supports both 0.18.x and 0.17.x. I've been running it for the past few releases over the last couple of days and I really like it.
BTW, it's been rebranded as Liftoff.
Omg someone actually named an App lemmynade, I suggested that name three days ago. This is really cool!

Never heard of it thanks for sharing. The app section of the join lemmy website should have get some push requests to include all the current apps.

I couldn't upvote or comment until I added a lemmy.world account. Now it seems like I can upvote and comment from my Beehaw account? Definitely strange, but the app is clearly in development, so hopefully that's an issue that gets ironed out quickly.

Looks great, but it apparently strictly requires the new lemmy version, as my home instance shows no posts in liftoff. Will keep it for now and try it again when my instance updates
