Oh, absolutely.
Procrastinating feels horrible, but has never, ever failed to result in anything but a moderate to extremely good outcome. So I will never learn to not do it.
The "bears," in my life: laundry, dishes, picking up dog poo, taking out trash, vacuuming, responsibility, and the three score other things I'll remember at 3:12am.
Dogpoopickup would motivate me because I know what it feels like stepping into it as a third party
I realized a while ago that I didn't even enjoy the time when I wasn't doing the thing because I was dreading the thing or its consequences of not doing it the entire time, so I've been practicing just telling my procrastinating brain to shut the fuck up and go do it and it's sort of been working.
