I got this excellent dish at an Indian restaurant. Do any of you know what is or even how to prepare that green sauce?

Cholay bhature. Cholay is chickpeas. Bhature is maida bread. Green sauce is dhaniya chutney made up of dhanyia aka coriander. All these can be looked up on youtube.

That bad boy is called a chole (cho-lay) bhature (ba-too-ray). The green stuff looks like mint chutney, but if it is only green from the lighting and tastes like savory yogurt it could also be raita.

Looks like Chana dal masala with a mint coriander and green chili chutney, tho it might be a pani to pair with big puri. Is there a sweet chutney there, too? Like a dark one made with tamarind? Is the bread crisp or soft?

It looks like food. But I have been deceived before.

But cake is food as well 🤔

That looks real good. If I was forced to eat vegetarian, I would certainly be satisfied with Indian cuisine.

The bread component is either a puri or a bhatura, restaurants use them both. I would call it a large puri. The curry component is chick peas, or what I would call cholle (but as somebody said can also be called Channa masala). The green stuff is a mint chutney, sometimes made by mixing mint and yoghurt but this one looks like it came out of a jar ready made.

The green sauce is cilantro and mint, so delicious. The beans look like chana masala.

Could look up the menu. At least it would narrow down options.
