I built a PC about a year ago for $1700, with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and a RX 7900 GRE. However, it has been shutting down seemingly randomly. Sometimes 20 times a day, sometimes 0 times a day; and it seems to have no correlation with what I am doing (me playing gaming with graphics on ultra on 2k monitor does not crash any more frequently than me just surfing through emails with 1 tab open and no other processes). I believe it is power instability in my house, at least in my bedroom specifically. I have a 1000w power supply. I know I need to get a good ups, but I'm broke right now so even the cheapest option I will probably have to wait a couple months to save up for; a more expensive option I will have to wait several months to save up for. What would you guys recommend? I am aiming for low $200 so I can get it as soon as possible, or maybe even cheaper if I can find a deal. And is there anything I should do until then?
