While I've not been shot, I have been punched in the liver while boxing. The pain really doesn't compare to anything else I've ever felt. It puts you on the ground and you can move for like 5 minutes

I once hit my funny bone so hard my whole forearm went numb and I couldn't move my fingers at all for like 15 minutes. I thought I seriously fucked myself up. My elbow hurts just thinking about it. 😣

getting a shot when you're afraid of needles hurts way more than hitting your elbow

I'm not even "afraid" of them, my body just does not like them one bit.

The beginning of "Up" isn't sad, it's bittersweet. It shows that obtaining the best things in life always leads to hardship because nothing is permanent. The rest of the movie shows you that it's still worth obtaining things that don't last.

I disagree so hard. The beginning of Up is literally the single most sad scene I ever saw in any movie.
And it’s honestly the most lasting impression, it’s just heartbreaking and terrible to see how they never manage to fulfill their lifelong dream.
And while he eventually gets there, that’s just a little comfort in that heartbreaking reality, and can’t fully heal that wound.
